I like the idea of two different colored bolts. I have a pronghorn bed. My back hatch is bigger so I have survey stakes, sledge, big tapes. You may move your straps to back there to free up your rear passenger box for fluids
I have a similar Knapheide bed on my truck, In addition to some of the stuff you have, I like to keep some bolt bins, parts organizers, straps, chains, binders, large sockets, welding stuff,, cutting torches and more, it's really nice having some shallow large footprint storage for stuff to not need to deal with small shelves
Did you watch it till the end? I have lots of hardware and supplies storage. I keep all my welding tools, 1" impact, big sockets, etc on my big truck. If i need to weld or heavy repair im going to bring my crane truck. Binders and tie downs are kept in the trailers. The point of this rig is to have 80% of what is needed in most situations, while not getting too heavy where the truck weighs 14k and really effects gcvwr poorly. This truck pulls trailers more than anything
@@bobbyjfarms3681 yeah I watched to the end, those Durham drawers are nice for small stuff but I like to carry a decent collection of large bolts and various hardware that doesn’t bode super well those types of organizers
@@bobbyjfarms3681 it’s definitely a struggle balancing between having what you need while trying to keep weight down for hauling, totally get you there. It looks like an awesome truck overall!
@Garret R yeah, it's why a single rig just doesn't work for me. If you haven't watched this one, check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LGYiBH86lXY.html
Oh trust me, it's in the works. These mirrors have the cameras and lights in them, added obstacles. I just finished doing the mirrors and door handles on my 04, its on my channel
Hey what about putting your oil jugs and antifreeze jugs in the wasted space next to the circular saw unless you use the oils all the time just a nice place to put them out of valuable space but always on the truck.
I have a 22 4500 with a knaphiede bed. I added the recon led running board lights and it suits the truck. You should look into them since your a lighting guy. What gear ratio did you get . I went 4.10s . Was gonna order a 3500 with 4.10s but went 4500 for the turning radius which I have not regretted. Ride is a little rougher but it turns sharper than my 3500 mega cab single wheel .
My truck has an inverter built in, and I did charge up a battery, but then when doing it again a 2nd time something happened and the charger itself died. Won't charge plugged into an outlet now either. Don't know if it's just a bad charger, or if the truck did it
