Thanks for the video. My 22 just spit out the snapping while 2000 KM from home. Now my truck is making an extended stay three provinces away just heard from the dealer today that the truck has a “internal transmission failure “
My 2022 Ram 3500 is at the dealership as we speak for this same problem. Dealership replaced the snap ring and blew it again . Replacing the whole transmission now . Going on 6 weeks with No work truck.
Nice video full of positive energy -🎉 I like it! I have a 2021 ram 5500 that I use for commercial hauling - it has been a gray truck for 247,000 miles. However yesterday my differential said goodbye and now I need a new one between two and $3000 at a local mechanic for a new unit +1000 for a labor. Not sure what went wrong. 😊
Sorry youve had to deal with this Bobby hopefully you guys were through the heat of the harvest battle when it went down. Does this sway you away from Ram any in the future? I’ve been considering a ford strictly because of the aluminum body here in rust country…
It went down right at the beginning of harvest last year AND went down at the beginning of harvest this year too. It was almost comical. No I haven't considered switching brands. I'm not a pasture is greener on the other side of the fence kind of guy. Stuff like thus happens to all the brands
Our family friend bought a brand new 2018 ram 4500 and since new it’s has had a wiring short and would die all the time. Finally got that fixed. Then they lost the transfer case at 40k miles. The truck sat at the dealership for 20 months until the dealership replaced it. Ran it for a month and it blew up again but the dealership replaced the transfer case in no time on second go around and so far the truck going good right now but they haven’t been to happy with that truck. They like their older 3rd gen 3500 G56 trucks better.
@@bobbyjfarms3681 It was insane. Supposedly at the time OE transfer cases were on backorder and they couldn’t locate one in the whole US which I thought was BS. Our friend thought it was going to be a lost cause with it being gone for so long and we all literally forgot about the truck and it even existing around the ranch. Finally it’s back now on it’s 3rd transfer case.
