i cannot stop crying. Something about this documentary has touched me so deeply, profoundly. I am saddened that we have lost such a pure, loving soul but I understand now he is simply on another journey. Please heed his words for i have never heard statements so true. "Most of what we encounter are thoughts... without those projections I can see everything."

Ram Dass frequently related a story about the passing of Maharaji, and how the sangha had so much fear about the guru departing for the next realm and what it would be like to exist in this plane without him and his body and his lovingly wisdom being around anymore. And he answered those fears so simply and beautifully: “Don’t be silly; where could I go?” All that to say: of course we mourn for the loss of the body, but he’s everywhere. Ram dass is here now. Maharaji is here now. Love is here now. So, I offer that to you. “Don’t cry now; don’t you cry, don’t you cry anymore. Sleep in the stars, don’t you cry, dry your eyes on the wind.” It’s all here, now, infinitely available to us, if only we develop the ears to listen and the eyes to see. Love is the answer, and I love you, dear soul. Thanks for sharing your pain and the impact this had on you, because your emotion has touched my heart and blessed me from across the physical divide. @@kristenwaterton4087 why all the hate? Leary did some questionable things I'm pretty sure we all have, Ram Dass has as well. Spirituality and seeking is not for everyone and there is probably a 3 to 1 (or higher) ratio of shysters over sign bearers.That doesn't diminish the light shown to the world. It also won't change who you are or your message if you choose to walk your own path. As Crowley said "Harm no one, do what thou wilt. Of course that is just my opinion. Peace to you.

Netflix, you mistranslated his mantra "I am loving awareness" in the subtitles of several languages (including French, Dutch, and Korean). These translators assumed the wrong reading of the phrase. It's supposed to mean that "I am the type of awareness that is loving", not "I love awareness." Please fix.
