I wish these teachers would tell the truth. This is the lowest level of vibration, hell in Christian terms. Trapped in maya we are cut off from our creator and death is the communion.
@@aidanhogg5146 I'm a seeker whose studied every major religion looking for answers. Yes the Buddhist goal is total liberation even from God.The void as they call it sounds awful. I've found Hinduism the most complete and satisfying. There the goal is disintegration of the ego and the realization that you are and have always been God.Then a choice is offered to return to the worlds of illusion with the purpose of helping others in the self realization process or the merge back into the wave of creation itself,God.
@@aidanhogg5146 all religions have prophecy not only chruchtianity ! follow the original teachings of christ and not the edited bible. in hinduism god is not an illusion everything that is not god is. Its all about discovering it yourself like christ💜🌌🕉
I think how you vibrate determines what "level" reality you exist in. Maya is not inherently a "lower vibration", it is the perceiver who is vibrating so low that s/he perceives only lower vibrational phenomena. Maya, the phenomenal world we live in, is heaven for those who see it as God in form and hell for those who see it as a cold, lifeless husk apart from God. To quote Krishna, "see me in everything and everything in me". God-realization is one flip of perspective away at all times
just to clarify a detail, ram dass used the term schizophrenia but was misinformed about it's definition as are many. i was diagnosed with schizophrenia and have been treated for it by psychiatrists for decades and the main symptoms i suffer from (and the main reasons by which i'm categorized schizophrenic) are noted hallucinations and delusions. not separate personalities that switch on and off in a single person. what ram dass was describing there is multiple personality disorder. which is a completely different mental condition. for whatever reason it's a common misconception. jim carrey got it wrong too in, "me, myself, and irene" if you know that movie.
Can i ask how you balance living with schizophrenia and living in the spirit? Does getting into spirituality make it easier to live with schizophrenia?
@@BuLLGotcha the short answer is yes spirit helps to deal with schizophrenia. but dealing with schizophrenia and being kind of accustomed to weird thoughts, delusions and hallucinations, it actually helped accept the strange possibilities and ideas within spirituality as well.
I've often wondered why this is so pervasive in popular culture. And Ram Das did have a degree in psych. ? I imagine it is only because of how it comes across to the people observing the behavior of the person suffering. ? That's just a guess. Bless you on your journey.
Yes, these responses are in the moment. This episode is part of a Q&A session held after a longer talk. The wisdom still shines through just as clearly though.
How else would he do it? If he prepared it or memorized it, symbolized it... It couldn't happen as it does. That is the art of being a true Speaker of currency
"Next Friday is in this moment. Next Saturday is in this moment. I'm not busy living in next Saturday and missing this moment; this moment includes next Friday and next Saturday. The confusion about 'being here now' is people think it means 'be here now to the exclusion of yesterday and tomorrow' and that is not what it means. It means being fully in the moment which includes everything else."
R D in Australia I think. He's testing the radio call in format that he was about to start before his stroke ended that next faze of his career with a Radio Talk Showw
One of my best friends, whom I won't specify for privacy obvs, is diagnosed with schizophrenia but they agree with me that they're just more in tune with their brainwaves. I also find it funny in a sad and almost tragic way that people who don't understand are afraid of schizophrenics, because people WITH this condition are far more afraid of the world than these uneducated people are. My friend also agrees on that. I'm neuro divergent in the sense that I have high functioning Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD, but I wouldn't change that for the world, I wouldn't be me. But yes, my friend is able to see spirits etc but takes the medication prescribed for their own personal reasons and probably for their own sanity's sake
My name is Colin Hamfhestead. Ram Dass is my life partner, and I just want to assure everyone that he is a professional, so go ahead and be rough. He can take it. Assk him anything, or take it in the Asstral Plane, or somewhere familiar like the Quanticoom Study. Nanasté everyone✌️🧘♂️
I know everything is actually ok. Yet I get so nervous about any little thing. Example: I'm getting picked up by my cousin to go to their Halloween party in a few minutes and I feel such nervousness about it. Why? But hearing this audio right now, I feel like I can handle anything. So a Halloween party and interacting socially with my family doesn't seem so bad.
It's relateable, not sure what to tell you. Sounds like stored enegery in your body being activated. I have a party I'm going to tonight for Halloween aswell and I will feel things similar in the moment haha
It’s amazing how listening to a spiritual talk can bump you up into a higher plane of consciousness for a little while. Sounds like higher plane=less painful anxiety for you So how can you get yourself to a higher plane more readily/frequently/durably/safely?
