Ram Dass Here and Now - Episode 32 - Battle Between Mind & Heart: beherenownetwo...
================
Humanity has always fought the battle between mind & heart. There’s another way of being in the universe.
The Chinese call it “the heart-mind” or as we may call it “the intuitive mind.” Rather than knowing through dualistic means or thinking about it, one subjectively merges with it, becomes one with it. It’s like the difference between wisdom and knowledge.

A story all about YOU ! The story of David and Goliath, as depicted in the Bible, is often interpreted as a metaphorical battle between good and evil, HUMANITY.. ( YOU ) with David representing the underdog , the anti hero... the person that doesnt know that christ is inside him\her............fighting against a formidable opponent. When exploring this story through a Kabbalistic perspective and incorporating Neville Goddard's teachings, we can delve into a deeper understanding of its spiritual significance. In Kabbalah, the concept of God is often portrayed as an infinite and transcendent force, encompassing all of creation. The false gods mentioned in this context refer to any limited or distorted beliefs or concepts that humans may idolize or worship instead of recognizing the true divine essence within themselves and all of creation. These false gods can take various forms, such as material possessions, ego-driven desires, or societal constructs that promote separation and illusion. David, in this interpretation, symbolizes the Christ consciousness or the divine essence within every individual. He represents the recognition of one's inherent divinity and the willingness to align with and express that divinity in the world. Goliath, on the other hand, represents the false gods or illusions that obstruct the realization of one's true spiritual nature. Neville Goddard, a prominent teacher of New Thought philosophy, emphasized the power of imagination and the creative capacity of the human mind. According to his teachings, our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality, and by consciously directing our thoughts towards the realization of our desires, we can manifest them in our lives. In the context of David and Goliath, Neville Goddard's teachings can be seen as a reminder of the transformative power of our inner consciousness. David's victory over Goliath can be understood as the triumph of divine consciousness over the illusions of the world. By aligning with the truth of their divine nature and using the power of imagination, individuals can overcome their personal Goliaths, the false gods that inhibit their spiritual growth and fulfillment. This interpretation suggests that the battle between David and Goliath is not an external conflict between two individuals, but an internal struggle within each person's consciousness. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing and challenging the false gods or limiting beliefs that hinder one's spiritual evolution and the realization of their true potential. In summary, when examining the story of David and Goliath through a Kabbalistic lens and incorporating Neville Goddard's teachings, we can perceive it as a metaphorical representation of the eternal battle between the Christ consciousness within us and the false gods or illusions that separate us from our divine nature. By cultivating a deep understanding of our inherent divinity and harnessing the power of our thoughts and imagination, we can transcend limitations and manifest a life aligned with our true spiritual essence.

I am addicted to wanting to know. It affects my faith. I also want to share my faith with others, like my family, but then I must put my faith into words which are just taken apart by other's minds leaving me feeling disappointed. People seem to take offense to me sharing my faith. I just want them to experience the Joy and Bliss but they seem to feel frustration and condescension.

I chose Kriya as the path I devote myself to. Sometimes my faith in my chosen path weakens (that pesky addiction to knowing 🙂) but I remember some words I heard in an Aya Ceremony "why does it matter what words you choose to study if you always know the One exists?" Kriya has been working for me.

10:19 "...the computer system that runs somebody..." Did Ram Dass ever explore the Enneagram as a model for this 'computer system'? I find it helpful for gaining awareness of the "s"elf, ego, which has many programs it uses for navigating this world.

Ram Dass goes from describing how much suffering is in the world including children dying of starvation to describing how to transcend suffering by giving an example of how he came to accept his baldness. Those aren’t even comparing apples to oranges. That’s like comparing raw meat to water. It’s not even close to relevant. How about he gives an example about how to transcend suffering when you and your family get captured by ISIS or how to transcend suffering when you have abusive parents or if you have a terminal illness that keeps you in pain all day. Beyond what I’ve already said here, Ram Dass is crafty in how he structures these talks and I believe in a lot of the things he says. But with this issue of the root of evil, I need a better explanation than “it is what it is and you shouldn’t question it because that is egoic”
@michaeldelaney8411

What is the clinging of mind of young girls who are raped? The clinging to having a good life free of sexual torment? What’s wrong with that? Ram Dass response would be “I’m not the one who knows the reason, I’m just saying that is how it is.” It’s BS
@michaeldelaney8411
@michaeldelaney8411 2 года назад
What is God’s perspective of rape? Sadness? Not to Ram Dass because the experience of sadness is rooted in the clinging of mind. So what is it? Does God care? Does God have the ability to care if God has no clinging of mind? That’s Hopeless. Who’s running the show? Why run a show designed to force people into a state of clinging if the clinging of mind is the problem? So are we left with anything of use?
@michaeldelaney8411
@michaeldelaney8411 2 года назад
Ram Dass says that you can be happy and sad and angry and all that simultaneously. You don’t have to shun sadness in order to be happy. And you don’t have to shun happiness in order to be angry. It’s all right there. What are you gonna do? You can’t put a lid on it for too long because it is eventually gonna come up for air no matter how hard you try to push it away. Allow it and accept it and be with it is what Ram Dass is prescribing. And that will provide the space needed to remember you are not only this body and mind, you are a being living this body and mind’s life. That space promises comfort. It’s a workable item but just seems so crazy to expect of people in extremely horrible situations. That’s all my frustration comes from. Peace and love to all of you
