I switched over to the Ram a couple of months ago. I really like how easy it is to change angles. I bought a second ball and U-bolt also, so I can just quickly swap to a new camera position.

I've actually went with a Ram Tough Claw clamp mount...no tools required!!! Check it out, or my video titled "Insta360 One R or GoPro 360 Action Camera Motorcycle Mounts"

I've been very happy with my RAM Mount but the one I use is a little different - it is the Torque Bar Mount. It basically adds a second piece of metal where the U-Bolt is and the bolts go in from the opposite direction. They are a few dollars more but I think they look a little less "Universal Fit" when installed. Nicely done with the video 👍

Every mount I’ve used on the handlebar makes the GoPro video shake. Of course I have one that doesn’t have stabilization (Hero 4). Does this help with that problem?

Sadly this will be no different. You need some stabilization to make it look good. However I know when I had a 4 on my handlebars it was fine as long as I was at speed. Sitting at idle forget about it.

Not judging, but speaking as a dad, not a fan of the no gear ride, no matter how short 😉. The mount I had used on that bike was different.. Didn't have the ubolt... Maybe because it was a larger mount? Glad you used that spacer... If not it might of crimped/ damaged the handlebar...oh i forgot, new bars on the way?) 😆

It is kinda high up, but you're hitting highway speeds while vlogging so it should be good. I did a no helmet run once down the street on my spyder. It felt super weird lol.

It was distracting while I was editing some videos so I have since switched to the shorter arm from the Dyna. And yea, it’s super weird without a helmet even if just for a block.

It won’t move as much as you may think. We use them to mount computers two forklifts and you can tighten them down pretty good. Love the ram mount use the perch mount myself. See you later

Wish they include some rubber to protect the paint. Paranoid I’m scratching the handle bar and rust starting to accumulate? Anyone got issue with paint getting scratch?

Hey John, unfortunately I don’t. I never had good luck with clamps so that’s why I use these. Others have had success with them though with no issue. I think GoPro makes a good fleximount but not sure if your to TomTom can mount to it. Thanks for stopping by!

The case was a generic waterproof case off of Amazon. I think all you would need is this adapter? www.rammount.com/shop-all/gopro The RAM® Action Camera Universal Ball Adapter
