I have a 2005 Ram SRT-10 and trust me, it is a BEAST to drive. Held it's own against the Stangs. The torque from both the dig and on a roll is unbelievable.
With 3.73's the stang would be a little more comfortable against the ram. Especially from a roll the SRT has so much torque. Not even sure really to call the winner here. Stang? Ram? Seems like almost dead even if both drivers are on the ball. I'm a ford guy but goddamn gotta have respect for that mopar
Has the RAM'S computer been retuned? I had a buddy of mine that had one a few years back and with headers/exhaust he picked up another solid 17 hp at the wheels and said in ran a little smoother. Nice runs.
Consistency! Auto will launch the same almost all the time and puts down the power smoother than a manual... From a roll a manual is faster all day if the cars are evenly matched
You need to look into that V6 mustang a little more buddy. It's a BEAST. The V6 mustangs are around 300 HP these days. If you do some work to one you would have a very fast car.
lets be honest the guy in the SRT-10 had the advantage cuz of the manual gearing which is giving him better jump every time. i wish he can try out with the same 5.0 but manual with a good driver, although Great video thanks for sharing it.
***** yes sir. Ive read up on these ever since they came out now im old enough to buy and afford one, i looked up insurance stuff and alot of blogs guys have them listed as rams
yep i know that fact , and no ur wrong manual transmition will give you the maximum torque/hp at the moment you want cuz you choose the right rpm for the launch, ive tried our with many automatic mustangs with my trackpack 13" GT with 6spd and they were unable to catch me until high speeds ( 80 - 90 ) mph and i really with you can try out with some 3,73 manual 13' mustangs, nice truck by the way i love it xD
Are you in L.A.? There is going to be an all Mopar car show in Van Nuys coming up soon. I can't remember the date but it's held at Woodley Park. I hope you're a die hard Mopar fan like I am since I have an SRT-10 too. I love the classic ones but decided to get the SRT-10 since it is the fastest production truck on the planet. If you want to check out a cool video about Mopars, type in "Mopar or No Car Song" on You Tube.
Truck came with cai full stainless exhaust with headers. Figured it would been tuned but didn’t no if they may have just took it off when they sold it if so what do I do
Tengan en cuenta que quieran o no esa troca le quita la aerodinámica que el mustang si tiene y sobre todo la diferencia de años pero ese motor viper sé desfiende como un desfiende como todo un campeon
Ram def got over 550hp from its 500 stock. More then exhaust and gears here not being mentioned on the ram. But yes a bolt on tuned 3.7 with gears would beat this truck and two gt's
Na bro, adrian can just drive seriously . Its all stock with corsa catback thats all. I mean think about what more does the truck need besides and tune and exhaust and a good driver
5.0 auto 0-60: 5.2 sec, Ram SRT10 2 door stick only 0-60: 5.2 sec, 5.0 with stick 0-60: 5.2-4.5 sec depending on oem gears. Ram will beat the auto for sure before even watching.
Paul walters are u stupid? Fuck what the magazine says lol look at the reality !! Look at the video theres no way the aiutomatic 5.0 messes up in launches
plus the v10 in those is 8.4 liter lmao put a 7.0 ls7 in a single cab silverado and it would rape that ram they dont impress me hell its 3.4 liters bigger motor lmao 3.4 is a decent size v6
He said he has a SCT tuner, mopar catback and CAI. Granted that's not a huge amount of upgrades, but with someone who really knows how to launch correctly, and powershift, there is a chance with those upgrades you could maybe hit the high 12s.
