Check RAM manufacturers using CMD prompt, if it says UNKNOWN, return immediately if have valid invoice. RAM Manufacturer field should say Micron Technology (Crucial registered company). I had bad expreince, where China, fake RAM was sold in crucial packaging. RAM Part number, manufacturer and serial number should be found and matching their website.
Please check ram specifications Used ram is 1Rx16(not a memory size) ram type which is slower Buy go for 1Rx8 or 2Rx8 this are faster memory (single rank and dual rank ) dual rank is way faster than 1Rx16 In simple words buy those ram which has minimum 8 memory chip they are called 1Rx8 ram And those those ram has 16 memory chip they are called 2Rx8 ram And ram which has only 4 memory chip are called 1Rx16 which slow as compared to other

Hamesha 8+8 ya 16+16 equal capacity ram hi use krna chahiye! Agar 8 aur 16 lagaya h mtlb 24gb ram ka performance accha nahi hoga! Tell him to change one 8 gb to 16 gb and then see the difference!
Awesome! My newly-made Gaming PC has 16GB RAM (1 out of 4 slots) and I'm planning to SOON install another 16GB ramstick to make it 32GB. Which means more headroom for heavy and more demanding tasks!

i have dell g3 3590 , i currently have 8 gb ram ( 4 GB x 2 ) , I want to upgrade ram to maximum capacity of 32 gb , is it ok to upgrade to it's maximum capacity , will it affect battery life or anything else in laptop
Because the inbuilt RAM of legion has only 1333 Mhz ram...and when you upgrade your ram with anything greater than 1333 Mhz, be aware that the memory system will be limited to the slowest memory you have in your system i.e 1333 Mhz only and not 3200 Mhz
If your motherboard supports single channel 1rx8 or something like that putting two same 2 1rx8 its gonna make it two channel And if it supports 2rx8 you put two same identical 2 2rx8 it will make it run on dual channel just put two right identical same ram supported by your pc motherboard
@@derag8860 mine is dell g15 5520. If I put two 16s will it make my laptop dual channel or should I buy kit of 32 which Is double the price of buying two single ones. Also why huge price difference
@@srikar92 just put two 16 gb ram it will be dual Channel it doesn't matter if u put different brand what's matters that they have the same speed and specs .

@@shivam_mishramusic8 gb is more than enough if you want to run normal software, I have been using solidworks and Autocad without any issues on my 8 gb laptop
@@UnboxTech14did I say gaming? This video you published was not for gaming review so I didn't say for gaming and if you want to do gaming on 'laptop' always go for dedicated gaming laptops, buying a normal laptop and then upgrading ram won't help you
If you can use 16+ gb then it matters else they are same......all you need to check is both have same clock speed 'coz if one has lower speed other stick will be bottlenecked and u'll lose speed Means 8g 2933MHz and 16gb 3200MHz combine to give you 24gb 2933MHz Besides for a laptop 16gb is enough Unless you have a real monster of a laptop if you know what i mean Have fun!!!
i won't recommend 8 and 16 because then your laptop will only use 8 gb of the 16 gb ram stick and the other 8gb ram will be used as single channel. But if you want more than 16 then i will recommend 2 16ram (only if your device supports 32 gb) that way you will get both dual channel and 32 gb .

@@GS7999 think it as mismatching...ok let me go through it again - If the device/machine (ie- your pc) wanted to dual channel then it would use 2 8gb ram but since you have an 16 gb then the left over 8 gb will still be in single channel If you play Minecraft you can understand it very clearly ( don't read it if you don't have any knowledge in Minecraft) When you craft doors in Minecraft you get 3 of them but if you want to make a double door in your base then you will use 2 doors side by side but one door won't be used. Then what will happen with the 3rd door you may ask , you have two choices either you get rid of it or use it separately as a single door In the above mentioned case doors are rams and double doors are simply an example of dual channeling. By getting rid of the last door is referred as not buying it (ie buying two 8gb ram sticks rather then buying a 16 and a 8 ) in case if you buy it then you will have three 8gbs in total but to dual channel you only need one and in this case you cannot separate them so only two of them will bes used and the other one will just be a single door ( single channel)

bro ofc 16gb is faster than 8gb, and 4gb is literally unplayable and so laggy, i dont understand how people live with it bro. And in some games i need 32gb ram because 16gb isnt enough for me, in games like plaguet tale req, rdr2, cp 2077 the ram going over 16gb.

don't fall for it; RAM just means how many processes can run at a time. for example: if i have 4 gb Ram ddr4 then i can run a limited amount of apps while if i have 16 gb ddr4 ram than i will just be able to run more applications (if your gpu and cpu and handle). Increasing RAM doesn't mean increasing performance. This mf is either faking or having changes in settings
