Being a kashmiri, living in a kashmiri house hold house. I wouldn't say all but only few help their wives with their daily tasks. But few will feel an embarrassment to touch the shoe of his wife or wash it. People have forgotten the sunnah and are living according to the society, so that their respect or social ego is maintained. May Allah s.w.t bless you. Coming to kashmir and to adjust here is a hassle. So good to see you embracing our culture. People in kashmir should really respect the fact that you do so much to manage but they will always have something pathetic to talk about. Be it food or anything else. Ignore the hate.
