I am a revert to Islam so I spend my Ramadans and Eids alone. This will be a reality check to born Muslims how very blessed you are to be surrounded by your Muslim family. Reflect on this throughout Ramadan as i truly feel it will give you some insight into how this month can be for reverts. Don’t forgot to check up on family and friends throughout this very isolated Ramadan. xx
Alhamdoulillah for everything we have, even for being in quarantine, I think we can reflect more on our relationship with ALLAH as subhi said. Ramadan Mubarak everyone
Welcome to our community, it’s not easy spending your first Ramadan alone but it’s an opportunity for you to focus and learn more about Quran and Hadiths. Stay connected to your family and your muslim brothers and sisters. Have a blessed Ramadan. 🌙🕌💖
I gotta say I respect you so much more now that you said that you were not going to make any vlogs during Ramadan because of the holy month of Ramadan and because of your relationship with Allah.. you‘ve just mentioned a very important point which most youtubers simply ignore or kind of make fun of.. Now THIS is something to copy..! My deepest respect, my brother. may Allah always lead you to the right path and strenghen you and protect you and your family. الله يجزيك الخير Greetings from Switzerland
Reward youself with some kind of treat when you break your fast, and please keep in mind that this Ramadan can change your life if you put just a little more effort in it
Being an introvert is finally paying off. Ramadan Has always been the same routine for me prays read dhikr So this quarantine during this time is not an issue. Finally feel equal and the same as everyone else feel like I’m not missing out Kinda liberating
My most productive ramadan was like five years ago, i used to stay awake after sahoor and read Quran in front of my window so i could observe the sky and watch the sunrise which would actually make me contemplate more . Also i found a program for sheikh fahed alkandari called” بالقرآن اهتديت" in which he interviewed converted muslims who were guided to islam after studying the Quran, this program hit me so hard seeing those newly converted muslims putting double effort to study the Quran and made me realize how indifferent i was about Quran although my mother lang is Arabic. I feel as if i became a new muslim after watching that program so I highly recommend it to everyone one who is intending to come out with different spirits from this Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak everyone 🌙⭐️📿
I used to stay up late watching Fahad Al Kandari's show, it was such a soul-cleansing experience, and probably my most productive Ramadan, too. It literally had me sobbing every single episode. SubhanAllah, stories of reverts are so inspiring and make you feel truly grateful for being born a Muslim, Alhamdulillah. Ramadan Kareem to our Ummah!
something I like about subhi is that you feel a different side of him come out during Ramadan. you can tell he really loves Ramadan and embraces it so excitedly. This how I feel and we should all strive to make Ramadan the best month of our year.
The prophet prayed taraweh at the mashid at the beginning, but then he stioped and he would pray them at home because he didn't want us to think it was a فرض to pray them at the masjid...
I just made a list for things I will insaallah have done in Ramadan, I suggest everyone to do it too, it really helps with putting my intentions into practice. Have a blessed month 💕
Since we have always lived away from our relatives, I am used to not being sureounded by a ton of people in Ramadan, and trust me, it is still special and preciouse! Don't worry people this Ramadan is not ruind..
Hey y`all it`s like day 635 of me binge watching Subhi and I`m realizing that soon there might be no content left to watch so Subhi please upload more videos por favor your channel is amazing
I think for gen z the iftars at the masjid are always fun and you get to see your friends and things, you start to forget about the main reason why you are fasting and what the meaning of Ramadan is like you said. I think its great that we are at home during Ramadan because we can have more personal time with Allah SWT..... BUT EID, NAHHHHH CANT DO THAT.
Hey Subhi! I'd love to edit your videos for you, if you're ever in a pinch or need an editor. I'm currently a music student, but really I want to make movies, so editing is great practice for me no matter what the content is. I really love to edit videos (so we are kind of opposite, haha) and your videos are always very inspiring and interesting to me. Your personality is a whole mood, honestly. Stay safe and Ramadan kareem of course
If i remember, this is the first Ramadhan without your father.. I know very well this feeling.. May Allah gives you sabr. Allah yarhmou wa inchaAllah netla9ou fel firdaws el 3ala m3ahom ya Subhi
For taraweeh you could also read a page of the quran every raka'a and that way you'll complete the quran in taraweeh in a month which is what they do in Al-Haram and some mosques. It's actually way easier and faster than expected :) (it does not have to be memorized just read it directly from the Quran)
Stop moving so much LoL I agree with what you said and I’m happy that your learning about your culture I’m so happy I found my own group of Mexican muslimahs too and beyond excited this Ramadan
Yes! The Ramadan "vibe" is gonna be ....different this year ...but maybe...yeah....we will get more time to reflect on ourselves rather than deciding on what to wear on the next iftar party..or what stuff we should add to our menu.... It's going to be a big change for most of us ....(it definitely will be for me)..lets just hope that it is going to be spiritually beneficial ... This is just my POV ..ofc everyone's perspective is different... maybe not everyone is like me ... (who enjoy this month more as a fun holiday rather than taking time to get close to Allah) In sha Allah this will change for good ♥️
exactly, i think the same way. we lost a lot in some other stuffs but not ramadan... maybe this time it's a chance for us. may god accept our prayers and fasts... ramadan kareem everyone! also greetings from turkey :)
I am a hosteller and have been celebrating Ramadhan and Eid for the past two years away from home (my Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦) where Ramadhan is a whole VIBE. The fear of missing out was unreal, and this year, again, due to me not being able to comprehend the worsening situation on time - I couldn’t leave for home before everything escalated. I am now stuck with a family who alhumdulillah have been gracious enough to provide shelter, but I feel like a burden since there is another family here that got stuck too just like I did. This holy month of Ramadhan is going to again be very difficult because of everything going on but I am using this time to develop a deeper understanding of the Almighty. I realized how fast paced our lives were and how we neglected the most important thing to us. May Allah bestow us with prosperity and happiness and guide us towards The Right Path. Allahu ya’alam.
i wanted you to vlog ramadan the way you did back in 2016 and i got real excited, then i realized that we all are in lock down this ramadan ramadan mubarak everyone
Being in quarantine is mentally chalenging and we will have a different kind of ramadhan this year, but yes we can use this time to do something we couldn't do in a normal time. We can focus bonding our relationship with Allah (personally) while we are fasting. And I feel so much blessing (that makes me realized it lately) in disguise even I still struggling in quarantine. Thank you for always sharing a good thought, Subhi! Have a blessed Ramadhan!
Oh boy. Subhi is too cute. I love to listen to his videos (yes sometime I just listen to him) cuz he is funny and let me happier when I am sad. Ramadan Kareem Subhi and y'all 💙
You can read directly from The Quran while you’re praying, just open the sura you want to read before starting to pray and put it on a table beside you then you can pick it up read from it and return it back so you can complete your rak3a
One tip : really really follow those RU-vid lives. Watch them on your TV in your living room so everyone can just listen and enjoy it. Watching it live with other people really brings the spirit and Ramadan and OF COURSE you get to spend at least some minutes learning more about the Quran and Islam. I did it today with my family and it was really great
it's funny how you're mentioning having to cook everyday, not meeting friends or not praying taraweeh in the masjid because that's the reality for a lot of muslims - mainly reverts. I'm not a revert but my family and I live in northern germany so especially during summer we didn't get to eat until almost 11 pm and by the time you'd get home from the mosque it'd be past 1 am so you'd clean the kitchen and suhoor is over at 3 am. So unless its the weekend there's no way you'd go to your friend's house or even the masjid because especially as a student there's no time.
In the city I live in, in France, "digital taraweeh" have actually been put in place, the imam prays during a live on RU-vid and you can follow from home.
@@milkyway6021 I see, I understand the fact that it does not count as "jamaah" but at least it can help motivating to pray taraweeh and listen to the Quran that is being read... You're right, that's what we did but in this situation that was never seen before it's hard to get a 100% valid "fatwa", I think what matters is the intention and how much we try to get closer to Allah especially during this time. Thanks for the info though !
Depends on the madhab you follow. It is impermissible in Hanafi madhab and will invalidate your prayer. Shafi deems it permissible. And Allah knows best.
