Rama tells Khara that he stands without his power, without his demons and also without his pride. Sages in Dandaka who always lived in fear, would now be relieved.
Rama kills Khara by shooting 100 arrows and then one astra given by Indra.
Devatas, Maharshish, Gandharvas shower flowers from the sky. Sita and Lakshmana come out of the cave and are wonderstruck looking at the death of 14,000 demons in just about an hour; and that Rama did not even have a scratch on His body.
