You know guys, what she did is insanely hard, she was strumming while singing. Keeping the vocal and instrumental note changes is head bangingly hard. Give her some slack she did superb.
this is a realllly difficult song to strum and sing. I dono how many ppl listening to this are aware of that. this chick nailed it. great job. awesome voice. love a good zeppelin cover.
She plays it incorrectly up on the higher frets, which Page never played. Here's a dude that knows ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NvURL_svtxo.html and also check out the "It might get loud" video where they show Page close up playing it. Nice effort though.
she plays the acoustic track perfecytly which is where page plays it on the original recording. the electric guitar tracks are played out of a barre chord
Im a hardcore Zepp fan and this is the best RO cover I have found. And let's face it, better than Zepp themselves nowadays. The song has such high, screeching notes it seems made for a woman to sing.
This is the way I look at it. I am DAM glad to see anybody her age trying to play a masterpiece like that. I am so relieved that the youth of today is reaching back to the masters of rock.
Holy sh#t!!!! There is absolutely NOTHING negative that someone could say about that cover. It was out of this world. I'm so tired of people trying to sing with a voice that is forced and this young lady has pipes for days. I have not heard a better cover of this song. So happy for you guys. I am trying to play and sing this song and it is very hard. So well done.. This video should have 10 million views easy. Congrats guys.
This is not only a cover or a copy, its a homage to what is, in my opinion, one of the finest pieces of guitar ever performed. Done with respect and a modern twist and interpretation which keeps this timeless classic fresh into the 2020’s. great job 👍
Beautiful version of a fantastic song, one of my Led Zeppelin favorites, I must add. It's a very tricky song, very unique bass lines and very hard to play while singing along, and the girl did a great job. People who claim it's not identical to the original should go elsewhere and listen to Led Zeppelin, this is something different. It's a new version, very worth to listen. Like it very much indeed, nice job!
I like how she didn't change the lyrics to better suit a females voice...For example, she didn't change "gotta find my girl" to "gotta find my boy." It sounds so stupid when people do that.
Funny, My first vinyl record was zeppelin 2. Back in 87-89 can't remember. Any how I was no younger than 13. I have to say throughout the years this is the greatest cover ever ❤. Let's not call it cover. You guys made it your own. Bless you.
I like. Allot! I love the timber of your voice. Liked how you made the song while staying true to its origins. Not many women can pull off this or any Zepplin song seriously. Awesome. wanna be my girlfriend?
Today I had my first gig at 33 years old on the street of Barcelona. It has been a process so much delayed from drugs and mysery. Today was magic. I won a long battle this time. This song is on the list.❤ I wanna sing all the song I haven't because the mysery. Thanks
i know youve heard it all before.. but awesome cover... I enjoy it because you didnt try and copy the original.. I mean to a point you did.. its a cover.. but you brought your own style and flair to the song.. rocked it hard!!
× Ramble On Led Zeppelin Leaves are falling all around It's time I was on my way Thanks to you I'm much obliged For such a pleasant stay But now it's time for me to go The autumn moon lights my way For now I smell the rain And with it pain And it's headed my way Ah, sometimes I grow so tired But I know I've got one thing I got to do Ramble on And now's the time, the time is now To sing my song I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl On my way I've been this way ten years to the day Ramble on Gotta find the queen of all my dreams Got no time for spreadin' roots The time has come to be gone And thoough our health we drank a thousand times It's time to ramble on Ramble on And now's the time, the time is now To sing my song I'm going 'round the world, I got to find my girl On my way I've been this way ten years to the day I gotta ramble on I gotta find the queen of all my dreams I ain't tellin' no lie Mine's a tale that can't be told My freedom I hold dear How years ago in days of old When magic filled the air 'T was in the darkest depths of Mordor I met a girl so fair But Gollum, and the evil one Crept up and slipped away with her Her, her, yeah Ain't nothing I can do, no I guess I keep on rambling I'm gonna, yeah, yeah, yeah Sing my song (I gotta find my baby) I gotta ramble on, sing my song Gotta work my way around the world baby, baby Ramble on, yeah Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, my baby Doo, doo, doo, doo Doodoo doodoo doodoo doodoo doodoo I gotta keep searching for my baby (Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby) I gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby (My, my, my, my, my, my, my baby) Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I can't find my bluebird I listen to my bluebird sing I can't find my bluebird I keep rambling, baby I keep rambling, baby
She shouldn't play the guitar on that piece. She should get a guitarist. Sorry. I call it like I see it. The vocals are fantastic. I can't get over the lackluster guitar however. There is about 200 percent more to that song on guitar than what she knows.
The woman killed it! But the guy playing the bass wasn't doing it right. He hit the right notes but he wasn't sliding his fingers like he's supposed to.
wow amanda! your fantastic, i'd love to hear some original stuff. a unique, (did i spell that right?), and beutiful voice, a signiture sound thats fresh and fun to listen to. what can i say, i'm a fan. your a charmer, i hope you go far. good luck. jared, h
KILLER Cover(s)!! Wonderful, thank you! Nice drumset, lol! They say Bonham was maybe using sticks on a plastic trash can (or "rubbish bin" as they say in England...)
One of the best covers of this song I've ever heard. Amanda's voice is PHENOMENAL...in addition to her own unique voice, I hear little notes of Janis Joplin here and there, and I love it.
Cool cover........Damn that is some high action on that bass..not being negative.......must love a standup . Long as you love making music ..keep it up ✌ !!
Nice change up in the chorus. The sparser arrangement compresses the tension of the song most effectively. And I dig changes to the vocal line that are authentic to the singer, as is the case here. The only people who could complain about this arrangement have sticks up their butts and/or no musical talent. I do have musical talent, and appreciate yours.
Sorry... for the negative comment but the bass line is incorrect and it's a crucial part to this song. I know it's difficult to duplicate John Paul Jones but the song deserves better
Not bad...but a bit robotic with the bass and drums. But still better than most because they played it how they play it and trying to be exactly like the DEVIL!!!
Hey, this is a fantastic rendition of a great song! I would like to give one pointer though. It sounds like you guys either mixed this in mono or didn't pan the instruments/vocals out from center. If you did record in stereo and just didn't pan anything, it would make everything come out a lot clearer with panning. Besides that, fucking great job! I dig it.
...excellent cover!! So good, you guys fuckin nailed it!! I get a bit precious of LZ covers as I love the band so much, but this really is worthy...love it!!
Nice playing. Not to be negative, but I struggle to listen the affected voice of the singer. I wonder what her natural voice sounds like. I bet it’s nice.
Every good muso stands on the shoulders of giants, the Zep certainly did plus a good deal they themselves brought to the table. These young people carry that on.
She has a great voice but do not like how she is changing the vocal melody. They did a good job though. In a different voice and female vocals is enough without trying to reinvent the vocals on a classic.
