I assume your horses have free access to water when they are not in their stalls, right? Just like us, they have different needs throughout the day and know best when it is time to drink. You are a man who likes hard work, using the walking plow. For many years I also walked behind my horses plowing, just when I got older I started to appreciate the riding plow.

Good morning Brandt, I use to go to fryburg fair in Maine I loved it I would spend most of my time in the pulling barn watching the horse and ox pulls I really also love the ox 🐂 pulls, there was a guy from Connecticut that had the pure white chi and he would win the ox pulls alot, beautiful animals

Good morning. Fryeburg is quite an event. When I pulled oxen there in 01, or 02 in the 2900 class, Russ Hine made the rest of us look silly. He was by a mile the best in my class. He was originally from Connecticut but from Maine at that point. I don’t know who it would have been, but Connecticut has some good ones.

Hey Brandt, you have gr8 nuggets of wisedom abt horses. Your horses are always looking nicely groomed but I've never scene you or Nick brushing them! There’s a 1 through 9 scale for horses weight. 8 and nine are to be avoided. 1 through 3 are to be avoided. For drafts, 4 through 7 is healthy. Most of us like a 6. Heavyweight horse pullers like a 7. You can find the chart online. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Any chance you'll be at the big pull at Hillsdale MI on the 24th of this month? Would love to meet you and your horses. They say it's suppose to be a pretty big one. The one I went to a week ago last Sunday at Montpelier OH only had nine teams at it. They said the one at Hillsdale is a lot bigger. I'm hoping it will be. Interesting video, thank you.

I won’t be able to get to Hillsdale. I usually go to east Lansing for the mgli events, but won’t be able to get there this year either. Maybe we’ll cross paths sometime.

When life hands you sh$t learn to love Sh$t sandwiches. I have a intimate relationship with horses turning for the worse and have lost a few. It's always what could or should I have done differently. Brian Armison owns rocket man. He thinks so. I think there’s too much size difference. Both good horses though.

I don't like hi headed horses but i sure don't like a horse that is low headed. Looks like it is about ready to colic . Probably up set some, just my thoughts. You can be counted on for nice video's, i and one of our great granddaughter's was watching one of your videos together night before last. She is 2 years old & been on many wagon rides parades and pasture. THANKS l
