RAMBO FIRST BLOOD - Jail Escape Clip (Extended) - Sylvester Stallone 

Easily the best of the Rambo movies.

In 1973 I got a copy of First Blood written by David Morrell. I was about 13 years old and I stayed up for hours reading it cover to cover twice. It was so well written that you could see and feel what was happening . It actually is better than the movie eventhough I love the movie and I've seen it dozens of times. There is a scene in the book about this scene in the movie how Rambo gets hold of the razor and slices open the belly of a deputy and the poor deputy is trying to stuff a bunch of his small intestines back into his body. The book is hella graphic

This is easily my number 1 favorite Stallone movie. First Blood. I even have a clip of this movie on a T-shirt with a picture of Rambo holding the knife to Teasle's throat and says "don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go". 👍👍

The stunt driver who jumped the cop car over the railroad tracks broke his back doing that jump and kept going. They got the shot in one take.

Beautiful film, a classic of the cinema. Me and my family we will always wacth it as they transmitted it on tv.

Seems like Rambo suffered PTSD and the cruelty just bought those memories back.

Before RAMBO We never saw anything like him. A Vietnam vet who was a super elite killing machine. The last of his squad of elites! BRILLIANTLY DONE ✅

took me years to notice that Rambo cries at :58. Damn Stallone. I've heard that PTSD may not only be fear of what trauma has occurred to you; but also what trauma we have to potential to inflict.

Stallone and the directors sold that almost primal scream that John did as he’s flashing back to the prison camp. It was his last ditch attempt at survival in his head.

Not only great action BUT also an embodiment of what the PTSD process feels like. Fight or flight mode on tilt. Thats how you feel for real.

They don't make cop cars like that anymore.

I grew up in that area, its so cool to see an action scene like this in the natural setting im used to. This looks cold and wet like november. They are actually rallying the shit out of their vehicles such a good movie

That cop wasn’t like most cops in movies at the time. He actually could handle his car and drove safely but was able to keep up with the bike for the most part.

STILL THE BEST RAMBO FILM EVER!!! Nothing beats this original epic action thriller.

One of my favorite movies all time growing up, and im now glad to be living right near Hope B.C. where most of it was filmed...i like to walk through the town and viualize where each scene was filmed

don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, seen it dozens of times, including when it was in the theater and I was serving in the U.S. Army at the time. But going back and viewing this scene, which I've seen many times, it occurs to me how improbable this chase scene is. You ever been on a good dirt bike? With the lead he already had and the maneuverability, the cop car stood no chance of ever closing the gap on him like that. He'd have been long gone before that cop car ever started his engine. But it was a good chase scene 🙂

All Canadian RCMP cruisers back in the day where that blue and white.... All they did there was change the decal on the door.... Hope BC has sure changed from when that was filmed....

Back then a squad car only costed 2 bumble bees and 1 chewing gum, so they drove em pretty much everywhere

The deputy that fell out of the chopper. He was the man that you couldn’t understand on blazing saddles: “the sheriff, he’s getting nearer”.

I had the same car. A 1977 Ford Ltd 2. It had a 302 v8.i blew the motor and put a 351 Windsor in it. Fast car

It's so sad the way they treated to war heroes. Besides Rambo is based on a true story. He got out of line all right but he was pushed too hard. Don't forget all these soldiers returning from Vietnam were having psychological issues.

Just walking down the road when the Sheriff stopped John without reason, and forced him into his car transporting John out of town. I think that constitute a Felony.

In my opinion this is the best film sly has ever been in. The rest of the Rambo franchise were garbage.

Yes, This movie really showed what the American police are, ruthless and sadistic.

That was the slowest I ever saw a kid ride a dirt bike. Still the best emotional breakdown performance by Stallone at the end of the film.

My uncle jack had a similar experience coming home from nam. He was killed in manner that made it look like suicide. The crooked Sheriff killed 80 men over a 20 year period. The truth did come out until the sheriff passed away.
