Choji would want to say "Come again?" after swallowing a mountain of never-ending multiplying dumplings and digesting it with his butterfly mode. He's just not in the mood of competing again ...
I'm watching the boruto series for the first time right now and am also watching this episode. I was quite disappointed after reading the description to not see Hinata and Boruto competing, especially after the himawari/Naruto episode. Very disappointing indeed.
If Himwari has inherited both Hinata's and Naruto's appetite, her and Hinata would both destroy the others with eating. I honestly wanted to see Boruto and Naruto vs Hinata and Himawari.
SilverShion the Queen unfortunately is spending time with her father and sister because in the manga, lord Hiashi is very ill. That is until she was misled by her sister Hanabi, who was disappointed that Hinata didn’t bring Boruto and Himawari to see him.
A bit of a fridge brilliance since US also had Ramen places. Other countries have them but It seems to be more pronounced in US (Bladerunner being one of examples despite being 80’s sci fi). Interestingly, one of my local place happened to be ran by Burmese who worked in Japan.
To clarify on those who say "Need Hinata to compete in this contest." Overall eating contest in this episode are more than just Ramen and show more than just this video alone. Rest after this video is made for overgrown eating habits like Spicy burger, called "eating contest" not "Ramen eating contest"
This could have been a fun Boruto and Hinata moment. But of couse shonen anime ONLY care about father son relationships and not mother son (unless mom is dead or absent.)
ChasehaWing in LN Hinata is visiting Hiashi atm and Hiashi wants to connect with Boruto more and bought a bunch of gifts for him and Himawari. There is a whole subplot of Hanabi wanting Hinata and the kids to move back into the Hyuuga estate because of Naruto neglecting them.
Fanta San it’s not an episode it’s a light novel, it’s what the whole Parents Day arc was based off of. It’s called Naruto Shinden: Parent and Child Day
I would've liked to see Boruto and Hinata compete in this. For one thing, we don't see nearly enough of those two together. For another, we all know she would've mopped the floor with Choji and those Glutton fellas.
I still can’t get over why they made choji, one of the dopest characters in Naruto, the damn HUMAN BOULDER, look with The Dude fused with Brock from Pokémon
I'm sorry but chocho ALONE could out eat both of them easily. But choji? I feel bad for them, this young legend has been consuming his whole life, a true black hole.
Boruto is such a good person he just gives other prents tips how they go with they children and he him self just dont wannt to became love from hinata and naruto!
Naruto use to be about war, fighting, enemy's, training :( and boruto is about them figuring things out as the day passes slowly and how they learn from that :,( what happend to the old naruto I miss it
This show is taking advantage of the time-of-peace to give the audience heartwarming/hilarious slice-of-life moments that Naruto, since it was about war and enemies and such, couldn't really offer. I quite like it.
@@Scribbles-hz9ec Yeah, same. That said, I don't mind what the story's been doing lately too much; I do have some issues (Boruto has been a passive protagonist ever since the movie arc ended, Konohamaru hasn't been given a single major fight where he actually wins, I feel that they could've done more with Urashiki Otsutsuki, etc.), but I am interested in seeing how things play out.
Knowing I will get trashed talked for bringing this up but crazy thought a eating contest with Choji his daughter. Goku and Gohan and scooby and shaggy. Think about it then laugh.
Somewhere in a slightly different AU: Hinata and Himawari: *Enter the eating contest* Announcer: And in the far end of the board, Uzamaki Himawari and Hinata! The very wife of the Hokage and their younger Daught-! Wait, what are all the other contestants leaving? You have to be fuc-! *static, cuts to a ramen commerical*
Ice style is a kekkai genkai; it can only be passed down through bloodlines or injection of cells from someone who has it (and the latter option has serious risk of the body rejecting the new cells).
