Rameses B - New Worlds 

if you don't mind me asking, who are the other ones

One thing that always struck me is that through the years I have seen very few chillstep artists rise and/or consistently release/produce music. Many good ones were young people producing in their bedrooms with minimal resources and a very diy approach. They would usually release a few songs and then eventually stopp, or simply never do it fulltime and more as a hobby. Imo, it's a genre that mostly gained supporters and fame through internet and especially through YT channels who would only share that type of msuic. This premise was aimed at explaining that many names I probably don't even remember, or gradually got forgotten during the years, although they were really good producers. It's been easier to remember more famous personalities. That said, I find Rameses B to be especially soulful among the 'chillstep' bunch. Close to this mood I'd say Ficci (I really, really love his music,but he hasn't released much overall), Crywolf, Koda, Seven Lions, Koan Sound. One song that'll always stick with me is My World - Merce. And then there's the whole chill/liquid dnb section among which Maduk is still my man to this day :) but again, there have been so many good artists around doing a whole array of different electronic types of music for so long that it's impossible to pick a few. Just tune in to Liquicity or MrSuicidesheep and put on any tune :)

@Jagger Stewart thank you! I haven't honestly checked him out for a while but remember he was in the middle of a transitional phase some time ago. Looks like he released a lot of stuff in 2018 on spotify but none in 2019. Not a fan either, but for example I kind of dig 'nazareth'. Maybe he still hasn't found the optimal way to integrate earlier influences with a more recent mainstream taste. Btw someone who did instead imo successfully manage to is Leo Kalyan (although he is a chronologically younger artist if one searches on Sheepy's channel uploads)

He is probably 1 of 5 I have really kept up with over a decade as well. Guy is incredible.
