We are trying to showcase a small sample of our students from various backgrounds. Seeing students very similar to them succeed is certainly a great motivation for many of our learners.
Thank u AAIC team for doing interviews like this and motivating. I got enrolled in the course but It been 6 months but I have done only 5 assignments. I taught of giving up but after seeing this video I got my confidence back. And trust me I am left with 6months course validity. And I will complete the course. Thank u ....
@@AppliedAICourse I am very interested to learn data science and also tried many resources available in internet. I will surely check applied ai course details.
Got motivation too much Before this I was confused how the course would complete with 8 hour job. Now after seeing him, it's like we can also do it. Thanks applied ai 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm currently an AppliedGate student and would finish my GATE content with proper notes and few revisions by Aug-Sept. After that I've decided to join AppliedAI and to allot atleast 10-15 hours/week along with my GATE preparation. I too had a long career break with minimal programming experience. This interview has now brought some clarity to my decision. Thank you AAIC team and Ramesh Vellanki, looking forward to having a discussion on this matter with the team soon.
I am following the same strategy during lockdown....it's been 5 months and I have almost completed module 6 and in a month, I will complete the entire content...after that my focus will be on assignments only...It terms of coding, I am also a non programmer but I am very good in Excel...Power BI and as per my personal experience, coding that is something which u can't learn but coding is something which you do...so keep coding on any small problem...even if you do data cleaning in python once in a week, you are going to improve a lot... Regarding applied AI, their live sessions are good but they are not included in the course progress so I would recommend to add few of them as mandatory like Time series....right now it is optional...but overall, the content is up-to-date... For experienced guy , I would advise not to rush because you spend 8+2 hours on job+commute so spend some 3 hours at night without any fail and uninstall any social media, Netflix, Amazon prime from your phone...you will have to sacrifice some of the entertainment related stuff atleast for 6-8 months.... Last and very important, Don't complete the course to get the job guarantee program of AAIC...but complete to learn and get the job on your own...Applied AI will act as a bridge for sure ... Disclaimer: Above content is inspired by my story...
I would suggest. Keep doing the assignments as you progress. If you will do assignments after course you'll have to revisit again and again for course clarification. I have done 8 assignments till now. Module 4 is done and dusted One more thing, keep the EDA and data cleaning skills too good. For this use kaggle as there are many data sets and you can do Eda and compare your results. You'll be able to know the much needed pandas Library and matplotlib
I want to know how did he even get an interview because there is a criteria for selecting candidates, I want to know what his profile was and how it was selected for the interview.
Excellent, continue doing such inspiring success videos for the community and also to show how truly committed you guys are towards bringing the best ML engineers to the market!
Very motivating video.. verma sir is motivating person.. i am noy still AAIC student but i have started python and sql.. now watching free video as on site..
Thanks a lot for uploading this video. Please make a video on how to get into management consulting firms like ZS Associates, Fractal Analytics, Latentview a Analytics, Bain, BCG, Mckinsey, Tredence etc as data scientist/data analyst/Business analyst!!!🙂
The Data Analyst roles at many of the consulting firms are not very different from product based companies. They would expect you to be good at programming, SQL, EDA and basic ML techniques. Knowledge of Deep Learning is helpful but often not mandatory for Data Analyst roles. For Data Scientist roles, mathematical rigor and knowledge of Deep Learning are mandatory.
Please upload recent candidates who have succesfully cracked interviews, from batch 2019 , who have new set of assignments. Ramesh Vellanki was an old candidate ( he completed course long back ) , and in 1.5 years of time , the job market has completely been changed , I finished all the assignments ( new set of assignments) , I'm not seeing any candidates getting placed for the new set of assignments. Please please please please make a video of fresher candidate from 2019 who has new set of assignments and has gotten placed, because although I have finished 26 assignments , I want to know how many freshers are getting placed , because I want to decide whether I want to do case studies or not . Right now no person on whatsapp groups or slack knows who is getting placed ? Please tell us whats happening on the ground, so we can see reality for ourselves and make good decisions.
Hi Ramakanth, We have uploaded many success stories with zero years of experience here: www.appliedaicourse.com/success-stories/1. We will also share the journey of freshers who got placed in Data Science job roles in the next video. Thank You.
I made a course from Applied AI.. though I did not got a job because of many factors. Now I came to do my masters on data science in one of Australia top university. When I am going through curiculum i could see the topics as similar to AAIC.. there explanation was so great still i have concepts running in my mind.. such a awful course is this. This team was one of the best to ML concepts.. I request team to make a course based on bigdata too I will be the first person to enroll in that.. thank you AAIC
Please check out your free videos on our website and call the phone numbers listed on our website so that one of our cofounders can talk to you and understand your background better.
Is it possible for non cse (mechanical or civil) to get placed in top product companies like Amazon, google etc as Software developer? are there any real life examples
We spoke to him on a different occasion and he mentioned that he revised extensively from the notes he made from the course. As suggested by us many times, he would try and spend one day a week for revision. And revise for 7-10 days from the notes before the interviews.
We have a voting system where our mentors and students vote on good comments. This way you can just read through top 5 or so comments under each video and that would be sufficient. Aditionally, we are building a semantic search engine for all of our Q&A comments. It will be made available soon.
Sir, as a mechanical engineer Ramesh sir started course in july 2018 n completed the course in sep 2018 just 2 months...as he said he does not had a prior knowledge of coding and programming ,so how he manage to learn python in just few days??? i ask this because i am also a mechanical engineer and started the course on 1st june.....so can u please tell me the fastest way to learn python and to be through the course early...Thanks
He finished only the videos in 2 months and not the assignments. He watched videos from morning to night, all day. He took more time to complete assignments.
Hey Shubham , I also come from a mechanical background , so I may be able to help u understand that there is no fast way to learn python quickly , one need to practice it enough , ive started course on 1st may and till now complete 5 assignments , so try to solve assignments then u will come to know how much u need learn more or where ur lacking , I know I've not completed the whole course but when I started my journey I had the same question u have , so jut wanted to let u know this . Thanks !!
HI I've completed my BBA a complete non tech background but I' am inclined towards ML and Data science. I' am ready to learn and give my 100%. However will this be worthy transition based on my background ?
It’s best to pursue a masters degree like an MBA or CC an MCA s as many companies ask for a 4 year degree or equivalent for careers in DS/ML. During your masters, you can build the skills to get into careers in ML or data science.
Hi, I was about to enroll the course today, but stopped after reading the terms regarding Job Program. It was mentioned that you are expected to attend the interviews which we provide. But the problem is, as I am in Delhi and let's say you are providing opportunities in Hyd. So in order to attend each and every interview PAN India will require at least another 1 lacks if u attend 10 interviews. Can you specify if interviews can be conducted via online medium if it is not in a City or nearby City. I hope you understand what I am trying to put here.
Sorry Deepak, we cannot guarantee the location of your job as opportunities vary by location. We also cannot guarantee that the interviews will be online only, as some companies expect candidates to attend in person( pre-covid). But, they often provide travel and accomodation. So, you don't have to worry about that. Aditionally, most importantly companies would ask to to attend in person only after a couple of rounds of phone/Skype interviews. In most cases, you do t have to worry about travel and accommodation expenses when you interview at a different location.
Is the job guarantee applicable to International students in the United States of America too? I will be starting my Masters in Computer Science soon and considering joining the course.
Hi team I'm a currently enrolled student still have 9 months left but my progress is pretty slow when I was going through the video content i was ok like i can understand but reading comments section i feel like I didn't understand the concept enough when I see people come up with different perspective which I didn't even think of i get stuck at it any advice would be helpful .
Just focus on the first 5-8 comments as we upvote good questions. Progress and consistency are very important. Don't get stuck for too long on one video.
Yes. We do have course participants with 5-8 yrs of experience. The course contents have been designed to help candidates with lots of experience also benefit and successfully transition to ML careers.
Unfortunately, we cannot share the numbers as the employers may raise an objection. But, it is possible to get a very good compensation even with a break if you build the required skills. It may take some time as you have a gap, but it is possible to quickly go from an internship to a full time role if you have the skills.
Yes, we was approached by one of the FAANG companies via LinkedIn. But he is planning to continue at Citi as he is getting to learn a lot of new stuff and grow.
Hi I have a doubt. Am from chennai. am looking for a job only in chennai. This job guaranteed course considers any job location??orelse we must participate in all job locations??
Hi, If anyone has experience in SAS programming, will his/her SAS experience counts or not while applying for ML roles Also will that person be able to follow your course.
@@AppliedAICourse Thanks for the information. I have experience in SAS, SQL programming. I am very good programmer in that. Will I be able to code in Python easily.
Sorry, Ramesh may not be able to share his compensation details as the employer may not allow it. But it is comparable to some of the product based companies.
Sure. We will do more. We published a story about Akash last week who got into Myntra which has the same hiring standards a FANG company. You could check that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ccy1UuhPY4A.html
