My grandmother bought me my first Rammstein album (Sehnsucht) in 1998 when I was 13 and I've been hooked ever since.

I think it's pretty obvious that they're a financially successful band (and long running at that) the result being they have the capital to keep releasing super cool high budget music videos. (Deutschland, Angst, this one and the list just goes on and on.) They're artists that put their time and money into projects like this instead of spending the whole wad on vacation homes and sports cars. I absolutely love these fellows.

I think this song is about finding happiness. He's looking for a wife with dicke titten, and they are all around him, but still he keeps searching for it because he is blind. He also does not see all the beautiful things around him like nature etc. So maybe it means that happiness is often really close, but people are often blind and you just need to realize what happiness is for you. It might be closer than you think, and maybe something else then what you think it is.

I saw it a couple of hours after it was published and man, I laughed so hard because I do understand German pretty well! The whole video is a genius parody on Bavarian/Austrian folklore with a wink to the plethora of German soft porn movies that flooded the cinemas during the early seventies.

This song shows the silly and fun side of the band I really loved it cause they are constantly proving that they are more than a band that make unbelievable shows on stage,but their humorous side.. You should definitely find the lyrics mate Thanks

The coolest thing is this was shooted in Austria/Tyrol and its just 20 km away from my hometown...amazing advertising for our beautiful country 💪

What I find so great is that Rammstein has different meanings with their songs, but the musical colour soes always support whatever they do. From the getgo you could imagine that they would make such a video to the song as the piece of folk is already in the track on the album. The same effective orchestration can be heard in "Zick Zack" which had a great video too. Rammstein prove that they are true geniuses and do everything they do 100% right.

"I don't know what this is about" is probably the biggest lie of every reaction channel, reacting to this song. 😉 Anyway, the best is: They published this right before their shows in Austria :D It's cool though that they give blind people the chance to feel and touch the stage before their shows, now even Till is blind haha

When I was young I would often watch my brother play Black Ops 1 and Bad Company 2 mainly, on his xbox 360. He would always play either Rammstein or t.A.T.u songs so I have been hooked on both of their music ever since. Rammstein never disappoints with their songs and music videos. Your react was great! I might be wrong, but i´m sure this isn´t just a fun video. Like many of their songs and videos, this also seems to have more layers: for example the story of an old white man who is too blind to see, that the one thing that he desires the most, is already around him the whole time/ The Destruction of EDELWEISS ( which is considered a crime in some european countries ), as a political statement ( EDELWEISS is a Code/ Identification Mark in the far right scene ) andsofurtherandsoon...

The Horn piece in the outro is remarkebly beautiful!

When I saw the trailer, I laughed like an idiot and couldn't stop. Every time I thought about it, it set me off again! Carry On films meets Heidi with tons of innuendo, references to past songs and performances and a serious message as well. Beating the meat, feeding the goat, the pups and loads of other sexual references including the "money shot" at the end of the song. The Till Hammer and "Till" getting pushed over, a miniature version of burning Flake with a blow torch. The Schuhplattler dance, the lederhosen, so much that people expect from Oktoberfest. Richard doing his Buffalo Bill (which is a bit freaky but funny, sewing a wedding dress as well). So, so funny including the outro. Blind Till doesn't see the beauty around him and just trying to find an immediate gratification that's denied him by his intended in the video. Perhaps we're all a bit like Blind Till, some more than others.

It's all about the videoclip....the message within...DEUTSCHLAND. and the lyrics explain the madness in the world.

The Genre of the brass music is Volksmusik (folk music). The song is pretty famous in Germany (Muss i denn). When Elvis was stationed in Germany as a soldier, he heard that song and made it famous under the title "Wooden Heart". Rammstein are in general playing in the Industrial style. A 50-50 mixture between hard metal guitars and synteshizers. The video was made in Austria. But Bavaria (where Munich and the Oktoberfest are located) are very similar to Austria in many ways. The clothes could be from Austria and from Bavaria (Germany). The clothes of the women are called "Dirndl". In former times everybody was running around in Bavaira & Austria in clothes like that. Nowadays this kind of clothes are mostly worn to special happenings like religious processions and parties like the Oktoberfest and the competitions & parties of the local shooting clubs etc.

The clothing is some traditional Austrian and southern Germany. I own some of this my own and every once and again we will wear this to some occasions to get wasted^^ I love every second of this song and video. Stay safe everyone!

Greetings from Germany, Lindau (Bodensee)...I think this another faboulus strike from Rammstein...all Songs and Videos have a meaning...i personally think, this has to do with a German TV Show called "Bauer sucht Frau" - translate to "Farmer looking for Wife" - and in the Video they also came with the "Bavarian Style"...almost everybody think all Germans wear Lederhosen...thats wrong! - they do in such a funny way, i can stick to it...also the Song they implemented "muss i denn, muss i denn zum städele hinaus" - funny

The Song „Rammlied“ from Rammstein is a bit older but is really good you should hear it
