I don't know how many times have watched this video, it's effect on me never lessens. Till is phenomenal here, it is a work of performance art that captures me completely. The man is a remarkable actor throughout this - as he is many times in the more 'character' songs during live shows. A truly unique performer. I saw them this year and will see them in Madrid and Paris next year, his voice has an ability to hypnotise somehow. A rare ability.

If Till was an actor, the label "method actor" would 100% desribe him, he is totally into character when he is on stage or shooting videos. Best example here: the cuts on his body are real! This man does everything for a good performance!

I grew up listening to Rammstein, in post soviet Poland, in the 90s. I am now living in the southernmost New Jersey, in the US. I am so glad this reached me, after so many years. I had no idea how Rammstein has changed. This piece if a fucking masterpiece. Holy shit

Did you notice it? At the very end as the lights are fading the white smoke? I believe the white smoke/mist you see in the very end as the lights slowly go off was his spirit/Soul. I think that he was finally able to ascend...after making sure all the children were safe and at the same time atoning for his past sins he was finally set free. This is of course is imo 🙂❤️

I'm so happy that I found your channel and that you appreciate this video as much as I do. Can you picture a 60yo female smokin' a blunt and jamming to Rammstein? Yup, that would be me! Self teaching myself the German language just so I can sing along. Till is so talented, as is the rest of the group. Their videos are masterpieces.

The original was released in 2001 then the piano version in 2012 so it follows the story from Till in the orphanage to protecting the kids and the emotions he shows is mainly anger followed by sadness then in the piano version his emotions are kinda bitter sweet? He realizes he had to do things he didn't want to do to save the children.so now that he's done, he is finally set free. This is of course IMO 🙂

There are some quite good Piano Version songs - this is one of the best. So deep and so haunting. It does show that Rammstein is way more than 'just a band' - someone said Till can not sing at all. Well - lol. My first Rammstein concert was in the last millenium and i was at the bands aftershow in a smal bar in Koblenz. Still love each and every Gig. Production quality of the song and especially 2019+ videos are hard to top.

I love, and I mean LOVE Rammstein. I love their pyrotechnics, I love how they’re god level provocateurs, I love their depth as well as their silliness….(seriously, who else would include a giant dick that shoots foam on the crowd in their live shows) But this video breaks me every time I watch it.
