Attending a Rammstein concert has been on my bucket list for decades, but it's never been something I've been able to afford. Then, one day, an acquaintance of mine announced that he had two spare tickets to the Minneapolis concert, since he'd had them for 3 years and two of his friends could no longer go. He didn't want any money, he just wanted someone to go with. As the only one living in the same area as him, I got lucky enough to get the two tickets. This happened about a week and a half before the actual concert. If you had told me at the beginning of August where I would be going, I wouldn't have believed you. Before I knew it, I was on the floor in the US Bank stadium, right between the fire towers (and decently close to the stage they used for Engel). As soon as the beat started, I had chills going up my spine. It was one of the most unbelievable experiences I've ever had, and even now it still feels like a dream!
I cannot describe how pumped this opening got me I couldn’t stop smiling even though I was in the nosebleed seats this was an experience like nothing before
I was at Montréal's concert at Parc Jean Drapeau! Unlike stadium concert Parc Jean Drapeau is an open space and it was right after a thunderstorm so the ambiance, the moon was different. The clouds and the sunset add a pretty nice touch to the ''Rammstein esthetic''!
@peter kunze, looked at it, didn't impress Now this is a opening; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jRc9dbgiBPI.html&ab_channel=GuilhermeCait
True! I was at the concert in Norway on this big very open horse race arena. The sound just traveled out and away without reverbance.during armee triste I felt like a religious power traveled trough me at some point :D its was epic :D
We had a full moon at the Boston show, I saw it rise over the stadium since I could only afford seats far away and it had a hint of red in its color, red for Rammstein! I felt spiritually awoken lmao fr tho
During the operatic intro of Zieg Dich, there was lightning hitting the stadium here in Minny. Definitely agree with you on the “religious experience” part
Absolutely fabulous I flew to Chicago from UK a few weeks ago to see them. The atmosphere was so electric. It felt like you were up in the air with the music for 2 hrs 🤘🤘🤘
That's how loud their sound system is. The phone recording this clip cannot keep up with immense thump. I had the privilege to see them in LA and let me tell you the best show I have ever attended in my life. If I had the cash and the time off I would follow them to each concert in the country!
I didn't visit their concerts in Germany (sold out within seconds). But the "Feuerzone" (fire zone) is very special as far as I have heard. You are not only nearer but you are "in" the concert. You might get wet and smell things others don't smell - but you will never forget it! For "Sonne" (Sun) learn: Eins, Zwei, Drei, Vier, Fünf, Sechs, Sieben, Acht, Neun (aus). Greetings from Germany!
Dude you're not kidding! I was NOT expecting how loud it was and it scared the fuck out of me lmao I didn't watch any vids of the tour before going so I had no idea it was coming
Always great to see Rammstein performing in my language all over the world, and the audience goes crazy no matter what they understand. I will never forget when I saw the first footage of David Lynch's Lost Highway with the Rammstein Songs in a group of other film people from all over the world. I was smiling all over my face, others were a little bit confused :-)
That’s a great view! I was on the lower level to the right of the stage, I was close but I wasn’t able to see Christoph and Oliver because part of the stage was blocking the view, but it was an amazing show. Any other concert is basically a disappointment compared to Rammstein. But I was able to see them from the 2nd row when they played the target center like 10 years ago. They get better and better every tour they do, I have no clue how they will top this performance
I've heard slipnot have good live shows but outside rammstein there is no live show like it even in other genres maybe Kendrick Lamar is close to this level but he only does 45 minutes most of the time
I was at the one in New Jersey, I drove from CT. I didn't check the weather and it was pouring! I was soaked! Oh well Rammstein makes me wet anyhow... Best experience ever! 🤘💩❤️🔥
People who saw the concert: This was such an amazing show, I love Rammstein! People who didn't get to see the concert: Man, they didn't even sell out the stadium, so dissappointing!
That would be less than half of the available tickets.😮 The stadium didn't look that empty. In Europe, the rate of tickets sold was actually still 99.4%.
In Germany tickets are sold out within seconds!!! No matter how the music will be - it will be a happening. A shame that you don't understand what Till is singing (in the style of the 1920s and NOT of the Nazis! Rammstein is more left than Bernie Sanders or AOC!!!
Man the US crowds never cease to amaze me. They rather record on their phone than be in the moment. Other countries are 100% in the moment with unlimited energy
I have carefully read all the comments regarding Rammstein America tour 2022 and I would like to underline that most of them are favourable. We have gotten to be candid about the Rammstein show features and qualities presented on the American soil. Before taking a plunge into the matter, I ought to confess that I am a faithful Rammstein fan. Therefore, to characterise their 2022 show, I am tempted to liken it to America tour show 2010 (Madison Square Garden). And what a show the latter one had been (MSG). Super-hits like: Rammlied, Buckstabu, Feuerfrei, Ich tu dir weh, Weisses fleisch, Sonne, Engel, etc. had been there to make the audience roar. Add up to this recipe fireworks, sounds and games of spotlights. Super- show from all points of view. Now I come back to the current show 2022. The setlist, established by the band, did include any of the above mentioned hits. Moreover (yes I am not afraid to say it), the current setlist is a flop (Armée of tristen, Pussy, Zick-Zack were below the mark). Songs like Engel ( a different version without the gear=wings), Du hast and Ich will could not save the performance. All the other songs, mostly coming from Zeit album, were dull and boring. What really rescued the show were the fireworks, sounds and games of spotlights i.e. only HALF of 2010 MSG performance. So the audience appreciated only HALF of the show. Winding up this was not enough for a famous industrial band like Rammstein.
It’s always like that when you have an album that’s a hit. Everyone only wants to hear the songs they already know. As artists, it’s understandable why the setlist has changed. They’ve always had very solid material. Some is just more radio friendly, some isn’t. Rammstein is one of those bands that you either get or you don’t and you absolutely hate them. As a longtime fan, I still appreciate their new material as it’s all just an evolution of the same concept. It goes together.
I will, with humility, disagree about the set list. I thought it was very good. I agree that song "Pussy" seems unnecessary, but maybe it has message that does not translate to me. Zick Zack is my favorite sock from "Zeit" album. Zick Zack is satirical as Rammstein is known for. I was very happy that it was live. One thing I wish "Engel" was stage song, not featured musician. Still was good audience participation stunt. I think true Rammstein fan is happy with live show and new observer was made impressed by the sensory immersion. Like every band have evolution over lifespan, Rammstein needs only to be Rammstein and they only are Rammstein, every song, every show. If fan likes, good. If fan hates, good too. Rammstein is true to craft.
You shouldve started filming, right when the big screen appeared that you should keep your mobile phone in your pocket and enjoy the show with your eyes instead of through a screen.
RU-vid recommend me this clip. I don't know why, but i like it much, how this, "my" favorite band, is celebrated from people all over the world. 😎 Saw them live last time in 2019 in Dresden, it was, again an extraordinary concert experience! So it's nice to see u folks like them as well. Greetings from Germany 😁
@@jonathanmoore1944 I'll be there GA in Foxboro, had tickets since early 2020 and am absolutely stoked. I know this will blow their Madison Square Garden show out of the fuckin water
I like industrial music but I don’t see the interest in this band, 4 chords and the singer is horrible...sorry , not for me but enjoy it anyways I guess...🙄
