Hi Suesue. I met Till on my job (working at the airport) a couple years ago. I had a rather egomaniacal guest who wouldn't accept "No, please wait". Till was at the gate with the others, came and told the guest to keep his feet still. Yes, he's a big guy. But little later he talked me, he has a soft voice when he speaks and almost that schoolboy look.

In Rostock there is the Werner Lindemann School. Werner Lindemann was a very successful children's book author in the GDR and is the father of Till Lindemann. Till's lyrics are unique.
Till has a song in Russian, "Lubimiy Gorod". Plus Rammstein have one with Russian lines, "Moskau". They have a Spanish song "Te Quiero Puta". The song "Fruhling In Paris", has some French lyrics. Till also has a lovely duet in French called "Le jardin des larmes". Theres also the song "Ausländer" with German, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish and English lyrics. Plus several English songs to ofcourse, including English versions of their songs "Du Hast", "Engel" and "Amerika"
Initially Flake had a Roland FR-5 V-Accordion. Later in the tour (and in this performance), it was changed to a Roland PC-180 A keyboard that was modified and customized to look like an accordion

the "till hammer" as you call it began as a move to whack his loose cruciate ligament back in place over his knee. but the framing of the rest is correct he got told thats a "metal" move. so it became 2 things onwards^^.
till had knee problems and he would hit his knee if it got stuck and he could not move it. he would hit it back in place. and paul said,till that looks so cool. tata the till hamer❤
No babies...thats not how the Till Hammer started! He had dislocated his knee b4 a show, and kept punching it to pop it back into place...it stuck as a signature move.
Till Lindemann has another song that has not been released. It has only been played live in Mexico...Its a cover song sung entirely in Spanish. Rammstein used to have many great riffs. But what makes them even more special are the lyrics, Till is responsible for. It's hard to get through them by simply using Google translator, as it proved to be not accurate all times. Till is a skilled poet, using a multitude of literal figures that open a wide field for interpretations. So the captions often needs to be just a clumsy attempt to grab a meaning. In this case Till is toying with phonetics/homophones (as he already did with "Du hast"). As native English speakers may assume, the German word REISE indeed derives from the same root as English (to) rise /raise. In German there is a same-sounding term "Reißen/Reissen", which is still used for an olympic weight-lifting discipline called Snatch. As it was also used for hoisting sails on medieval ships by shouting "Rise, Rise." In modern German the meaning of "Reise" shifted towards voyage, which is the result of hoisting the sails, so "Reise, Reise" could be translated as "Voyage, Voyage", by the way also a french song title that princess Stephanie of Monaco once was covering 😉. Yet those lyrics might go back in history, when the Germanic words Reise, Rise, Raise still adressed similar meanings. "Seaman" or "Man of the sea" might not necessarily be a mariner that could only be found on sailing vessels, if this particular "man" (in singular) is brought in relation to a particular "fish" (also only addressed in singular throughout the entire songtext) that got stabbed by a spear or lance that leaving his body/heart bleeding (dry) and left the world weeping. No idea why the captions suggest "they bleed" , as there is no "they". The line is an incomplete sentence without subject ( Is bleeding...), relating to the object of the foregoing line! Plus, I listened to that passage several times and Till has changed his own lyrics at this concert, not singing "Well'n" (waves), but "Wel-t" (world) is weeping/crying. At other concerts. I also saw him raising both arms horizontally, like forming a crucifix with his body, looking up with his eyes at that moment. Did those badasses really use, what could be a sublime credo on Jesus Christ, "Rise, Man of the Sea, ARise" as a concert opener ??? Well, the setlist gave the answer and the answer came promptly ! A short review of the lyrics of "Links 2-3-4" reveal that it is merely Rammstein's version of "Listen to Your Heart", which is the core teaching of Jesus Christ. As your heart can prevent you from doing evil, your mind is about to do, often because of fear from the consequences e.g. by rejecting an order, as addressed at song #3 of the setlist "Keine Lust" a credo against overboarding passivness. Sometimes he would like to confront the "greater animals" in George Orwells Animal Farm, yet he won't take the risk to leave his comfort zone. Needless to say that a world without heart felt more and more cold to him. However Rammstein don't need to be saints, let the bowl boil at song #4 "Fire free" (unleashed) - in the military used for "Fire at will". Verse #1 dealing with physical fire, ouch that hurts, verse #2 with sexual fire "a sparkling shot into her lap...fire freeee", verse #3 with mental fire (fanatism), the most harmful one.
Richard has a bit of a tortured soul, and had a short period when he was not the nicest guy in the world (according to his ex-wife, who may not be entirely objective, and also according to himself), but apart from that he and they all seems like very nice guys according to those who met them, and what you see from people filming them off stage. Not least Till, who is a shy and introverted poet. He would love your dogs, for he loves animals in general. No need to fear him.

Till Lindemann (singing in English) it's a small part but he sings in English and the sound/style of song is unique and I've never heard him sing that way...
