It's the first song of the new tour performance. I love the way they all come out one by one, reminding everyone who they all are. Their costumes are all colours of the German national flag-black, gold and red. Sad song about rejecting love for fear of it ending in disaster based on past experience. Till's vocals are brilliant on this, I really do prefer the live performance of this one than the studio recording.
I don’t love, that I love something (I don’t love, that I love something) I don’t like, if I like something (I don’t like, if I like something) I’m not glad, If I’m pleased to something (I’m not glad, If I’m pleased to something) I know, in the end, I’m gonna regret it To be happy, that’s impossible Whoever loves me, will die What I love, must die What I love, have to be ruined Torments follows the joy and happiness you have to pay for everything that is beautiful What I love, shall die! I can renounce from happiness because disaster comes with it I must destroy it (I have to destroy it?) So with this, I defend myself from harm What loves me, dies I don’t want to suffer Whoever loves me, dies I mustn’t be happy Whoever loves me, will die What I love, must die What I love, have to be ruined Torments follows the joy and happiness you have to pay for everything that is beautiful What I love, shall die! What I love, must to die What I love, have to be ruined Torments follows the joy and happiness you have to pay for everything that is beautiful What I love, shall die! I believe its about someone who doesnt think they deserve any kind of happiness. They are also scared to love and be loved..maybe a loved one died and they believe it was their fault now they are Putting up a shield because they dont want to love again and also suffer the heartache of Lösung a loved one.
Short lesson EI says "I" and IE says "E" Ex. Drei, Teil, mein have the i Sound as in Mine , find, Kind etc and words like Rammlied, vier, Bier have the e Sound like in me, Tea, See etc. So Rammlied is pronounced like rammleet. In German when the letter D is at the end of a word it Sounds more like T..
