Damn apart from lyrics, the way he sings every single word ( of any song) it just go straight to your soul. Just like an actor the character changes from song to song... Till Lindemann is a freakin' genius.
Rammstein shines a light on the darkness of this world. They tell the stories people don't want to hear yet need to hear. They made sure to ask the permission of the victim before making this song, and in their way they are exposing this rotten human who did such terrible things so that the world would never forget, and we can all work towards a future where these things never happen again to anyone.
I think we all feel the same when you know the backstory. This is for me the most terrifying from Rammstein, and at the same time I love it so much. Some of their song are really much more than dark. lot of people think Rammstein is "just" a metal band with pyros, but it's more than this, it's a show, Till plays characters for each song, the lights and pyros are not randomly chosen, even the way each members play. In this song: no flames, only dark blue light (before ther were suspended dolls with blue beams like lasers coming out of their eyes, and they explodes at the end synchronizing with the rythm). Each time I hear this song (and few others like, "Spring" for example) I feel umcomfortable, it gives chills, it gives emotions. Emotions are not happyness or sadness, there are a lot of emotions, and Rammstein, is one of those bands who are not affraid to push the limits, but in an intelligent way. Till is not "just" a singer, he's an actor in the shows.
don´t feel guilty! wiener blut is a great song! rammstein has asked permission from the victim to make a song about her and she told them, it will be ok! so, enjoy the song 🙂😎
I would highly doubt that. Elisabeth and her children are living a highly secluded life and they protect themselves from any type of contact with media or other personalities. Good for them. I guess this is just a feelgood story for Rammstein fans. In reality, if you're listening to Rammstein's lyrics, Till often takes certain portions of true crime stories and translates them into the lyrics where he often writes from the perspective of the perpetrator. He isn't obligated to ask for permission, so it's perfectly fine to do so.
That is what I often feel with Rammstein. I'm German and understand the lyrics. And when I happily sing along - I suddenly stop - and choke. I experienced too what it means to feel guilty when you enjoy a song. 😆
"Stein um Stein" also deals with this criminal case. Text excerpt: "I'll build you a little house, has no windows no door" "Stone by stone I'll build you in and you shall be part of the whole". "Stone by stone I'll wall you in and I'll always be with you" "Stone by stone I'll wall you in and no one will hear you scream" !
This video is great and its a very great performance from Rammstein ! Your reaction is very great and i love it too ! Greatings and love from germany ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Till and the band treat this song with so much respect, no pyro, no antics. Just the raw power of the vocals and music. Close your eyes. This song is what being sexually assaulted feels like. Thank you, Rammstein. ❤️
❣️ Viennese Blood ❣️ Come with me, come to my castle Fun is waiting there in the basement Quiet, quiet is what we'll be Releasing the moment from time Yes, paradise lies beneath the house The door swings shut, the light goes out Are you prepared? Are you ready? Welcome to the darkness To the darkness Nobody can disturb down here No one, no one can hear us No, people will not discover us We let life taste good And when you are alone at times I'll plant you a sister The skin so young, the flesh so firm Under the house a love nest Are you prepared? Are you ready? Welcome to the darkness To the darkness In the loneliness In the sadness For eternity Welcome to reality And are you walking in the deepest valley?(Are you prepared?) And are you there without light? (Are you ready?) Fear no misfortune, no agony (prepare yourselves) I am with you and hold you I hold you in the darkness In the darkness
Oh, this is a new upload? I was looking for your reaction to this video just yesterday! And you should definitely go see them! I saw them this summer, best decision ever!
You did this performance, minus the English, 5 month ago. The live in America version from MSG is uploaded by "Bucksttabu" on here with English cc. That live performance is bit different
Yes, if you know the context, the lyrics are horrifying. However, there are lyrics that are much more terrifying in and of itself. If you find a translated video for "Hallomann" (2019), for example, or "Spiel mit mir" (1997) - those are really disturbing lyrics, always written from the perspective of the perpetrator. This became something like an unique selling point to Rammstein over the years.
More reactions videos from Rammstein please.👋👍 Greetings from Germany. The educatedmarine channel has videos with English subtitles. What I don't understand about Rammstein and what I don't like is that they don't offer Translations! They have Fans all over the World, of course they want to understand what is being sung and especially with Rammstein Songs this is very important, as their Lyrics have a lot to offer! It should also be in Rammstein's (Lindemann's) interest that People understand his great Lyrics.
So the reason so many of their songs are metaphors is because many would not be able to HANDLE what they are really singing about, They sing about so many things, political, horrible true life events, things that piss them off, things they disagree with , but they know (because of the weak world we live in) many would not be able to handle it and would cry and become full blown Karen's if they just sang it outright the way everyone could understand it. That's my take on it anyway. Let the FAR FAR FAR longer RAMFAM explain it though, I'm sure they know better than me. But think about it - if I wanted to sing about a politician who got away with RAPE for 10 years because everyone protected him , how could I sing such a thing? so I would make a story up......the politician is bank robber, and he FORCES himself into the Bank Vault ( the poor girl) and takes everything away from the Vault leaving nothing behind except his seed. So now I can sing about a terrible event without everyone being shocked. Anyway - that's my opinion.
It's hard as f**k, yes it is, but unfortunately it is also reality. There are so many bands that sing about the sweet life or other cheesy nonsense, we've had enough of them, they lie to us about the beautiful life and we take refuge in this warm, beautiful embrace. 99.99% of all films have a happy ending, people try not to show bad things so as not to spoil the children. Maybe there needs to be more bands or artists like Rammstein who tell the truth and draw attention to injustices. Unfortunately, it is still the case that one in five children worldwide is abused. How many children do you know personally? yes, I mean you, who is reading this right now. think about it.
Go and listen to Helene Fischer and keep the good songs for the big girls & boys. By the way, I got abused very badly as well as a child. Also someone tried to rape me, as I was 16, but I was stronger and I love Rammstein. If they would not exist, I might not exist anymore, because they give me a strength, no "Schlagerfuzi" ever could do. They show the dark side of the society, most of you do not want to except. I experienced that side and I am glad that at least one band is going out there, so that it is not completely forgotten. So if you do not like them, just do not listen to them, or someone who is reacting to it.
