But there is no evidence of either manufacturer being in FS19....Giants have not yet released any info on what new stuff is being added to FS19.....Prost is just making videos on what he thinks or wishes will be added. But if both will be added then we are in for a treat but i am not holding my breath!

Not always. They make excavators with tires that I’ve seen driving down the road to a job site. They also make rubber tracks for some excavators which are made to do work on asphalt so they don’t tear it up as bad as steel ones. All though any tracked vehicle isn’t really intended for travel on asphalt surfaces. Rubber or not.

the rubber tracks are for grass so they dont tare up as much, but of corse they do less damage on asphalt :)

Grass is grass. Rubber tracks are primarily used for asphalt. Just because you put rubber tracks on a machine does not mean it will do less damage than one with steel tracks. The machine still weighs the same and will tear up the grass while turning wether it has steel or rubber tracks. The rubber tracks are to prevent damage while turning the machine. Not just from traveling over a surface in a straight line. Unfortunately there really is no way to track a machine over grass without doing some kind of damage. You just have to turn the least as possible. However with rubber on asphalt you do less damage because when turning the rubber skids over the asphalt instead of the steel tracks digging into the asphalt and inadvertently tearing it to shreds.
