I've looked at them. I think he is redesigning them some. Hoping to get one at some point.

Got a new one on Ebay two weeks ago for $11.40. I have the 9 inch model with the laminate and I love it! Great rebound and it fits in a back pack. It has become my everyday go to pad. (other than the Ram Pad Pro of course). As a side note- I wish I would have never bought the Byosphere. Too loud! Now I will say it is a great pad if you don't mind the volume. Will sell it to anyone interested at the right price.

@@DennisJohnsonDrummer Is your wife annoyed by it? :-) It is pretty loud.

@@SnareMan Nope. This one is not nearly as loud as the Byosphere. I use it almost exclusively now in my private lessons. It fits perfectly into my back pack and the rebound is great.

Oh, just realized you were talking about the Offworld as opposed to the RamPad

That makes 2 of us. I think we have 500 people including 15 snares signed up. We'll see how many actually show up.

And I might actually be marching DCI next year so maybe I will get to see it in person

yea, that part is a little frustrating. I have a Rudimental Drummer pad on the way that doesn't seem to have that problem. We'll see how that one is.

I have one and it feels and sounds the most realistic pad but eventually the custom pad laminate wears down and the laminate starts to bed where everywhere but in the center has a dead rebound if you want I can send you a video and playing test on instagram

Yes, especially on a stand this pad has a lot of loud resonant sound to it. a little less so if you are putting it on a countertop or with something under it

I already have the v3 but I’m looking for one with a snare sound. Wish I could get xymox but ya know how that goes...

@@jackohaire8203 Tough choice. Does portability matter? The BYOS is smaller and lighter. Does volume matter? The BYOS is louder.

I’ve got a xymox hybrid snare that I bought in October and a RCP Active Snare pad. I enjoy them both, but unfortunately it’s had the effect of making me want to buy more pads. I may roll the dice on a xymox 12”, I really want one lol. But also eyeing Offworld invader hybrid. Like the BYOS but read in comments on one of these videos that it’s pretty loud. Rampad has certainly caught my eye, not a bad price at all one them. I too am looking for the best replicate of a marching snare, hope to make some videos with them as well. Whenever I’m curious about a pad I just come here and usually SnareMan has a video review lol
