MrRammsteinKicksAss GTA online IS basiclly like a room full of Trevors on a Rampage. last night me and two buddies kept harrassing cops and soldiers then running of in helicopters and planes before dive bombing Vespucci beach. my buddy even managed to land a Titan on some sunbathers, i got out and shot some cops and a life guard, and then he turned it around and we flew off.

I just love every musical genre you use in your songs (you even made me like techno), but when you go psychobilly, one of my favorite musical styles... there are no words to describe the feeling. All I can say is: thanks, man. You music brightens my Thursdays every time. :)
Gavin, I have no idea how you've done this but I feel like I know all the GTA V characters, personalities and all just from your songs and I haven't seen trailers or touched the game. Keep rockin' man, you're the master of music in my books! :)
This is the best song I have heard yet from miracle of sound. And that's saying something, because I've listened to four of the so far, and thumbs upped them all.
Frankly, with the tone of how GTA is, I think that always seems to fit well. Seriously, as bad as most people think the song is, my best memories of Vice City were set to that Flock of Seagulls. On Franklin's song I tried to suggest you might go with a more psychobilly theme, and while I doubt you even saw it I gotta say this was like me thinking "Man you know what would be cool?" And then it actually happening. Thanks for the songs as always, Gav!
Canadians are strange they are all so nice, but then there individuals like Trevor or Deadpool and you kinda question all of the repressed rage and insanity business

lol Gav, I love how you can drastically change your voice for whatever song you do. Ex: The difference between say, Legends of the Frost, and this. Your voice just doesn't even sound like it all comes from one person. So what's your idea for Michael's song? Just complaining about his life? Scars of the past? Something like that?

All 3 Miracle of sound’s GTA 5 songs have these references to each other kinda. Trevor’s has “when I get in my car and drive” from Franklin’s song but a spin to fit his character “there ain’t nobody left alive”. And Franklin’s song has “gonna drive my blues away. Just another sunny day.” From Michael’s song. Michael’s also has “and now that we have all arrived, my friends get in your cars and drive” from Franklin’s. Lol nobody took any verse from Trevor tho
Well if you think about it, Trevor and Michael are the old school Criminals with their own mentalities and such while Franklin is the protégé, meaning the two got their own styles and mentality while Franklin simply learns from them both and applied it to his own views, it's brilliant if you think about it
"When I get in my car and drive, there ain't nobody left alive." Very true of my last playthrough, where at the end my Trevor had two main vehicles: a fighter jet he stole, and a tank (the best vehicle for dealing with that infamous Los Santos traffic)

I like to keep my songs PG-13 as having explicit language forces me to classify them differently on I-tunes. Yes, I am aware the other lyrics refer to a sociopathic murdering lunatic and am aware of the irony of this but that's the system they have.

Out of curiosity have you ever considered making a sound for Metal Gear Solid? I've recently got into the series and am kind of having an "MGS" phase but regardless, I'd love to see your take on a song for it but final choice rests with yours ^^; Bleh, sorry if this seemed rude.
I think its the whole fact the pure... "Rawness" of his lunacy. You dont see the Joker running around with a bazooka while riding in a rusty tractor or going around crossdressing and shooting hipsters with a shotgun.

Hey, I heard in one of your comments that you were having issues with the Michael song, you got any ideas for that one now because I'm curious as to how you will handle that one. I was kinda expecting something in a sort of Vinewood style myself, though I'm not sure how you would get that across while still conveying Michael.
Thematically this sounds quite similar to Annihilator's Human Insecticide. Quite like this. But just wondering, what happened to you harder songs? You seem to have mellowed out as of late.

Pink for boys and blue for girls was a common theme in magazines and the like because (and I paraphrase from memory): "Pink is a stronger and more passionate colour, better suited for boys, whereas blue is dainty and delicate, perfect for girls." However, they'd often state the opposite or say that one colour suited blue-eyed children more, or brunettes. Any real division according to gender happened sometime in the 1940s IIRC, when the Powers That Be - i.e. people selling clothes and toys - seemed to have decided that it'd be easier to market things if they assigned colours to each gender and for some reason it fell to pink for girls and blue for boys. Some say that's the influence of French Fashion. This has been your off-the-cuff-perhaps-misremembered PSA for today =)
My guess is that Michaels song will be called "Dead Inside" seeing as that's sort of what he feels in his life and that the thematic lyrics of 'When I get in my car and drive' will again reference how it makes him feel alive again.
