Today the NFL network showed a 2017 game of the rams vs titans and I was blown away by the precision of the rams whole team especially the offense. Way better than now and it was mcvays beginning. They switched up the speed ran a no huddle and everyone performed perfectly.. it was like a magic show. So what happened. Now they fumble and stumble around than call time out . Wtf . This was goff ,woods, kupo and the mighty Gurley. They looked amazing 🤩

Trade up if need be and get a FRANCHISE LEFT TACKLE! I like Penix, but right now, we need to run the ball productively and protect Stafford. The new look defense will be fascinating. We need a run stuffing linebacker. And, of course, we need a "D" line that is better in total without AD.

I do wish Jared Goff the best but let's not take our eye off the ball. His move to Detroit did not take him to the next level. By going to the lowly Lions, the bar was lowered, and the level of expected success along with it. His best years still were with the Rams statistically and goal-wise. So far he has proven to confirm Sean McVay's judgment that he could only go so far. This year in the playoffs 2nd half game-planning showed his vulnerability against both the Rams and the 49ers - in the same way that he was exposed by Bill Belichick in the Super Bowl. Detroit may also find that despite their gratitude for helping them get this far, a change ultimately may need to be made to take them to the promised land. This was really the lesson to be learned from the trade. Goff will never be Matthew Stafford, i.e. THE difference maker.

Doug, you seem a little butt hurt by the Goff comments. Don't forget we got to the Super Bowl with Goff who had a tremendous year. Not sure what went wrong in the Goff/McVay relationship but it went south and the trade worked out great for all.

I used to like the Lions and defend Goff but not after seeing how violent they played. DC is a violent coach you can tell he asks his players to go out to low hit opponent's knee caps. This type of team will have troubles coming either by huge penalty or suspension. Without those dirty hits I doubt the Lions won. Anyhow the Lions have nothing to do with the Rams now.

Jared Goff is an ash whole. He forgot how awful he was before Sean McVay. He was still awful losing that Super Bowl. The only reason he is good now is because the same reason he was good - "up to a certain point" with the Rams is he is surrounded by elite teammates. Throwing your former team under the bus is unnecessary and class less.
