I think the idea that the loss of AD is this total disaster is wrong. Of course he can't be replaced with another player he was so awesome, maybe the best ever, but he was starting to get old. He never lost any ability or agression but the loss of one player just can not effect the entire team. There were plenty of times last year he was just blocked so much he couldn't do much. I think they will be fine with these new players on defense

I absolutely love the Corum pick. There was a definite drop in productivity when Kyren was out of the game. Corum is the perfect addition to be able to insert when Kyren exits game and not lose productivity. One of the best jump cuts I've ever seen. I commented they should take him right after season.

I think the dynamic duos turns out as young and verse and fiske and turner. Young and verse may have a lot of combined sacks and solo sacks from each other them getting behind the line.

FSU fan here since mid 80s. FISKE is a top10-15 player, I am going to say something that will get a lot of laughs: he is better than Verse, not by much, but he doesnt take plays off. I felt Verse did sometimes and turned it on critical downs, which was fine. Verse was a beast because of Fiske and not the other way around.

Crazy how mcvay and Snead just year in year out find atleast 2 guys that end up becoming instant pillars on the team every draft. Excited to see this defense tho. Could be really fun to watch, probably with alittle growing pains tho but mannnnn I’m stoked

Plus to be quite frank verse shows some of the same qualities AD did. Strong and fast bullying linemen we see how he does in the nfl. But college verse had multiple highlights of him just pushing line men into the qb and or taking 2 blockers and still pressuring/sacking the qb with a great awareness and run stop as a edge rusher

@@KidHeartArt I think Verse did 31 reps on Bench as well dude is as strong as he is quick, love this draft I was shocked they were able to get Fiske even at 39 dude is gonna be special. the edge they got later in draft looks like a hard worker with a chip on his shoulder attitude may be a rotational guy to start but could be a diamond in the rough. The Center they drafted was the steal of the draft. I screamed when they got Blake. a more atheletic Williams. I think he may be the best NFL RB in this draft. He does not have 4.3 speed but he has elite quickness and great vision just like williams

Excellent draft! Allows movement of Hoecht to ILB(Rozeboom) where his size and lack of mobility are a MUCH better fit ! In definite passing downs, his substitution is with a Strong Safety.

The Rams did a great job in draft enough said. No good player is too expensive if he fits well in team. The future picks value means nothing. That is why some teams can never get far because they live by the rules.

No guarantees but the Ram’s draft looks as good as 2023s. At least the first 5 picks + the kicker will make the 53 man roster, then we’ll begin to see if there’s a Puka, a Kobe, a Byron and a Steve Avila among them. If that happens, that would be an incredible 8 starters in two years, all guys with terrific attitudes. I can’t think of any back-to-back drafts on that level, not even with the great 70s Steelers or 80s Niners, and they had some great drafts.

Too bad AD did not stick around just one more year. They needed to address the DL and LB. I do wish they would have taken a WR in the third. There were many RBs in later rounds. Otherwise it’s pretty sound.

If staff gets injured we definitely need a back that can compliment and relieve kyren Puka and Kupp and Robinson and tutu will all be solid people to pass too. We really needed someone to relieve kyren. If kyren can stay healthy he’s gonna be a top back in the league. Yk he averaged 100 yards and 1 tuddy per game? He missed 6 games leaves 11. He had 1144 yards 12 ruddies in the season.

Honestly the lyren disrespect gotta stop i agree ik we got corum to relieve kyren of snaps hopefully deter injury butnkyren while missing those 6 games still had 1144 yards and 12 tuddies. I agree the injuries are a problem but dont make it sound like he coukdnt find the endzone. He averaged a tuddy a game which isnt bad at all no matter how you look at it.

Trading up is nothing new for the Rams...2nd rd picks isn't a big deal in '25...this regime kills the later rounds....Corum is a smaller version of Williams...and they needed a RB when Williams misses time...and won't miss a beat Sacking the QB...is what makes DBs and a defense good

None of this will matter if half the players are running around with plastic foam waffle caps on their helmets. the day that happens is the day I stop watching. It's ridiculous the way they are changing the rules it's going to be flag football soon with no tackling , no hits with them wearing safety gear
