Dude stalking hill country axis is a way different animal(no pun intended). I’ve stalked whitetail in the hill country when they’re by themselves and that was a challenge. My attempts at stalking axis have all ended with those vigilant does busting when I’m at least 75 yards out with the wind in my favor. Great to see your success
