Brother I m also from jharkhand n have great passion to visit uttrakhand/Himachal by car but have fear in travelling via road. Is their any danger in travelling with family. R u planning to visit there, it would be better for me to accompany with you........plz reply

Wow great to know that you are also from Jharkhand...we are from Ranchi...at this moment we are not going to travel to HP or UK due to the weather conditions...but may be in April or May we are planning...will keep you guys posted

Jamshedpur wala route thek hai...humlog kabhi Puri se Ranchi gaye nahin hai but Jamshedpur/Tata wala road condition sunte hain acha hai...hope it helps

Is it a better route to Go Varanasi from Ranchi ... Is there any traffic jam in this daltonganj route till varansi..Can you please guide , After Daltonganj , what was route to reach GT road

s it a better route to Go Varanasi from Ranchi ...its not a toll road and issue is that it's a Maoist area...Positive is - There is less jam in comparison to GT road...cannot say what is the condition during monsoon as we travelled during dry season

I m from Daltonganj..A little bit traffic conjunction in this city around of 3km. Rather than from Hathinala(Varanashi shaktinagar highway from where HN-39 towards Ranchi branch seperate) to Daltonganj and further till Ranchi road is perfect.All weather road and no any issue in night also.Varanasi to Garhwa buses run in night on this road.

What I see is the absence of clean Dhaba on the route

@@Love4Travel Thanks.I have been a resident of Ranchi and travelled 3 to 4 times to and fro from Ghaziabad by road.But I never try to take alternate route via daltongunj etc due to risks there as we are senior citizens after all.National Highways are always safer than internal roads even in Bihar
