Dear viewers, just to avoid any confusion over 400/month i.e,13 rupees/day or 50 rupees/day: As per old regulations of the ICAR regarding internship stipend to BVSc Ah students, it was 3000/month for 6 months tenure of the previous internship duration of half year . However the stipend scheme was not updated even after fresh mvsc guidelines and interns got 3000*6= 18,000 rupees for entire year, amounting to 18000÷365= 50 (approx )/ day. And during this time no extra allowance from state was granted which was supposedly 3000/month previously from University. The students continued to protest against this unjust remuneration of their hardwork but no one paid ears to them . Situations were already worse in the college since there was no regular payment to the students and they had to fight a lot still leave Bare hands with minimum or no wages. This matter escalated furthermore when the students welfare,Bau university denied any provisions of ICAR stipend and offered a meagre 400/month stipend to the students which is 13/day. This has led to immense anger and frustration among the students and they tried all genuine means to get a reasonable wage for their hardwork yet it was constantly ignored. Having no options left, we have organised this peaceful protest to be heard, to be given basic rights to dignity and living.we demand a minimum stipend of 15,000 per month. Kindly support us in this cause by standing United and amplifying our voice in whatever healthy way possible. Thank you 🩺🫰
