You get a wicked tone out of that Squier tele/50s P bass. Best tone I've ever heard in a while using an original non split P pickup. Sounds incredible. Most people replace the straight old 50s pickup with a later split P pickup like Mike from green days signiture model or something completely different. Chris Squire from Yes used a similar 50s P bass with the same kind of early tele pickup and also got the great trebley punchy tone as well. Great job on the song and getting a great tone out of that bass. Those early 50s style p basses don't get enough credit. Most people don't try and get a good tone out of them without modding them which is a shame. With the right amp/eq they sound incredible as you demonstrated similar to an original 60s Rickenbacker 4001 punchy growl... Great job
