RIP Randall, a true legend and pioneer of jungle n DnB. I'm nearly 50 and went to many a rave back in the day, Randall always delivered quality music and mixing with every set I ever heard him play live.

This is correct. Randall played at a night I organised back in 1999/2000. Rave was dark. He walked in like a boss, on time, no entourage. Had only Dub plates, no vinyl, completely rinsed it. Heavyweight selection. He got paid. We shook hands. He left.

This man inspired me, to start DJing myself, soon I'm going to a local DJ school in my city... I hope I will be as good as Randall. Drum n Bass is just pure love and whenever I remember all the amazing times (some on molly lmao) I had with this kind of music and what it make me feel, I really get this deep, passionate feeling of making people this happy though my own hands myself. In around2005 we went to Renegade Hardware NYE at Bagleys in London..Halfway thru Tech Itch&Trace were playing a couple of hours of ferocious industry&Amen style heaven but my girl&even myself were feeling warn out banging to the none stop Amens&Filth.. Then up stepped this Fella and when that first smooth yet moody Roller dropped&seemed to release the floor&it Magically Melted into Funky,gurned up rampant hardstepping, Pure fluid movement&Jungle vibes right up to the last drop(Every track somehow more Rollin than the last)..That is probably my favourite hour&half at a party I think.And thats saying something!😏 Anyway yeah, Wicked DJ, excellent set!👣👣

TinFoil Hat got my 1200's in 2001, I'd love to say I'm old school but I mainly use my cdj's these days only because the price of vinyl is ridiculous in Australia, it's by far a cheaper option for me to buy cd's or digital downloads. I still get nostalgic and dust of some old school dnb every now and then
