I think this has alot to do with the natural settings of the two franchises. Fujio has been fighting all his life in the most dangerous district (SWORD district, highest crime rate). Not to mention, the Infamous Oyakoh named for being the gathering den for the worst delinquents in the country. The fights of these kind of universes are just on a different another level. In a fictional setting, martial arts alone doesnt cut you above the rest. Experience matters too. I truly cannot see any of Cobra Kai beating the likes of Fujio, Genji, Serizawa even if they trained martial arts (we not talking about Bouya or Rindaman, they’re another league of their own)
