as an ambivert, that is the kind of friendship I mostly offer tho it sometimes guilt me because I can sense people's boredom and thought like "man, this guy doesn't want me to be here, I feel unwelcomed and unwanted." it's anxiously stressing 😅
2:31 I mentally scream in frustration whenever I see this scene. It's set up so perfectly for a beautiful and romantic kiss, and then she opens her eyes...If only Pin had told her 10 seconds instead of 5...
Pin told Sawako to hold him and close her eyes for 5 secs. as a way of thanking him BUT it's the other way around. We get it Pin is rooting for these two. I kinda get frustrated too whenever I think of this scene. Kazehaya was almost there. My hearteu...
I feel soooo baaaad when they don't kiss!!!!!! Pin should have told Sawako to close her eyes for 1 min!!!!!!! 1 min is enough for Kazehaya to do his part!!!!!
@@nhesienacita2475 Try the live action too! It's really good as well. It's hard for me to watch it now bc of Miura's passing but I hope I can watch it again...
kazehaya's voice is the same voice actor as jellal.... sawako is mavis, kurumi is lucy, yano is ultear and ryu is gray... wews! :3 if fairy tail become a high school life anime...
I dont really like romance anime so much, but this kimi ni todoke anime its really something! The art is just fit with the story. Old, but gold. And ya know, for some reason i kinda feel something like similarity with actual life. Sweet, but salty and bitter in same time. The art itself feel so nostalgic, something that sometimes bring you in to the show. The comedy is dope. And of course, the love story that tickles you and makes you sometimes frustrated about it.
this was the cutest romance anime i’ve ever watched, although by season 2 i was just so emotionally exhausted bc of all the misunderstandings. other than that it’s a good one that made me punch and slap anything and everything around me out of feels
BREH. THAT ALMOST KISS SCENE AT 2:27 WAS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE WHEN I FIRST GOT INTO KNT. I can recognize that scene anywhere. It's so pretty. Aaaaa, seeing these scenes makes me wanna rewatch and reread it all over again! (And maybe finish the manga cuz I never finished that, tbh.)
I love the implication in the anime that chizuru spends hours of her week trying to teach ryu the names of people and still celebrates him for getting it not TOTALLY AWFULLY wrong
+Anoushka Datta me too I was like yes yes yes they gonna kiss then I was O_O NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The 3 stages of my mind while watching it the first time: 1. Why does this shy wholesome girl suddenly make a bold move like that? 2. It's so unlike her, but you can't keep her hanging. Go for it Kazehaya! 3. Murder sensei Arai. How dare he toy with these poor kids like that. lol
This may be the most wholesome thing I've ever watched. Sawako is so pure in her motivations, kind in her actions, and empathic in how she tries to protect everyone around her, it's impossible to not love her.
Agreed. Ryu is best boy. Saves Sawako from a speeding baseball and casually moves on. Went out of his way to support Chizuru even though he had his own heartache about her to deal with. The type of guy who does something amazing and never expects to get the credit. Best boi!
Just finished the anime today, really enjoyed it. I always find Sawako (if I spelled that right) cartoon head when she's excited or happy, very funny and adorable. My only complaint I have with the anime is I felt the whole confessing there Love, was dragged out way to much.
When Sawako's head becomes giant and her body small or tiny, that's called Chibi. It's common for Japanese Anime to do this in various series usually to act and be used for comical reasons which can translate to being cute, or in some rarer cases, pathetic. The anime isn't just about the romance, it's about a girl that didn't have friends, made some, had her friendships grow and develop as a person. Not to mention the other characters could also be considered main/support characters and they have time on screen too. The awkwardness is because both parties don't know how to handle their feelings or know how to properly identify them and young love is like that. Wouldn't you want to develop a friendship like them with a girl that steadily progresses rather than say something like "Let's hook up" or "I wanna bang you." and automatically be in a relationship with no story. That's like telling your kids how you met: "Well kids, I saw a girl and thought she was hot, then I told her I wanted to get freaky with her and the rest is history." Talk about a boring life with no real story... I deem your complaint invalid. lol
KitsuneFoxy Oh yeah, forgot that it was called Chibi. Anyway the problem I have wasn't that I wanted them to be together the moment they met. What bothered me is that both character have developed a strong friendship and they both clearing like each other and they had many attempts at confessing there feelings, but every time they do, some miss understanding or whatever happens and they end up back at square one. Now I know that happens in real life, but I felt that the anime did it to many times that it just felt like they were dragging it and that really bothered me.
+Alex Olinkiewicz (olinkalex) I see where your coming from... I felt the same too... I was very frustrated with a lot of season 2 cause of that... I think season ones last episode would have been wonderfull for them to get together and that instead of dragging it out had it where they had obsticals in the relationship and showed how they coped and got over it together... yes it was ment to be friends frist but they was... and it seemed to drag a little longer then it should... to me any way ^_^ just my opinion...
Well, that's the fault of the source material, not the anime. The source material waited way too long for the confession. They were basically a couple before officially BEING a couple.
I feel like they shld continue with a shojo like glass mask. It was rly left hanging there. Shojo like kimi ni todoke and maid sama alrdy feel complete to me
