Diane: I really enjoyed looking through this Smash Book. Still not too sure what that is. It seems to be just a book where you glue things you like into it. However, yours is very interesting and there are several pages that are really neat, one being that man, with his hat and mustache. Super interesting! Carol from California
You are exactly right! When they books first were introduced, the idea was to use them for kind of a planner for a wedding, decorating, etc., but obviously they could be used for anything. Thanks very much!! 😄
Love your book!I too have just finished mine ,full of random images and keepsakes.Also I’m a big Doors fan loved seeing Jim.They were a local group where I grew up and even performed at my high school🎶😊I look forward to seeing your next book.
This was one of my very favorite journal/glue book flip throughs. Partly due to where I am at. After putting away all my Christmas supplies I was very tired of filing. I decided last night I was going to just glue down the non-Christmas fussy cuts, magazine images, and other flat ephemera that were also surrounding me, onto a few random glue book pages. In my head popped the title Random Catalog. If I name things it is usually well after I've gotten into it. You reminded me that, also before I got into journals, glue books and collage. I bought 3 Smash books (all the same) on an Amazon lightning sale. I wasn't familiar with them at the time. Don't believe I ever did anything with them. I will have to dig them out. I got a number of ideas as you flipped through yours. Thank you for the inspiration. Just curious, does the Leo page mean you are a Leo? My birthday is August 16.
