I have a 2016 Macbook and I edit my videos on iMovie maker (because it is free lol). It is really slow and lags so I know the pain! Congrats on getting the new laptop!

Wow this reminded me of my summers spent at my grandmom's place in Chennai. Row of Neem trees, mango trees and coconut trees. A treasure house of every possible book u can imagine u will have there, even the windows are the same, the dried up well..So many memories. I just miss my paati (grandmom)so much . Very nice vlog 💖
Actually Kiki, the M1 MacBook Pro isn't worth its value.... The M1 MacBook Air has almost similar performance at a better value.... That's why its always recommended to buy the M1 Air over the Pro...But, if you want it for sheer "creativity requiring" performance, it would have been better to wait till October for the rumored 16" M1X MacBook Pro or just gotten the Intel 16" MacBook Pro now, it has way more capacity for RAM which is very important for video and photo editing and slightly better running capacity before thermal throttling a.k.a slowing down... Anyways, this is also a good upgrade...
Yeah that’s what I said in the video, I wanted to wait but unfortunately couldn’t but might trade this in to get a higher specs version of the next one when it’s out. And I just prefer the Pro to the Air any day, especially for video editing and stuff which is what I primarily use my laptop for :) Also, my brother has the 16”, it’s just too big for me coz I carry my laptop on my trips too and I just don’t like that size. But so far, this laptop has been blowing me away with how fast it is!

Does 8gb work ok with Final Cut Pro is it slow ? Am planning to upgrade my 2017 MacBook not sure if I should wait for 16 inch pro this year or if the m1 pro is good enough
It’s super fast for my requirements (I don’t really edit in 4K but even 4K isn’t so bad on this). If you can wait, they’ll announce the new MacBook Pro in a couple of months.

Really enjoy watching your videos. I ended up buying an Ipad Air 4th gen and it's accessories hoping they'll make me more productive 🙈 That isn't going too well. Hopefully you can make a vlog on being productive on weekends.
