Apparently ignoring and opposing your players' wishes for years upon years while adding more changes and broken vehicles that do nothing except enrich yourself may have some consequences. Who could have thought?

Gaijin watching tens of thousands of reports on issues like packet loss, BR compression, and Bots be like: "I sleep" Gaijin seeing a player not go broke after getting 10 kills in one game: " UNACCEPTABLE"

WT just got progressively more painful to play over the years. They deserve the backlash and the fallout that's going to come out of this. I think it's time for the community to take action. Let's strike on 26th to show them enough is enough.

For those who don't know what's going on: After years of milking the players for money with a economy that is stricter than nuns ass, the players had enough.

Finally After years of rejecting player's opinions, suggestions and criticisms while also adding tons of unwanted broken changes nobody wanted just to milk even more money, it's all finally caught up to Gaijin. The last update they reversed was only the last straw, all of this review bombing will hopefully change the way the game is handled from now on and it'll greatly help if more youtubers like Nordern here cover this. *But do remember to explain in your reviews why we're doing this, so everybody knows*

Gaijin out of touch? Never

i remember i was a big player of both war thunder and world of tanks at one point. there was a point where i practically gave up world of tanks in favor of war thunder but then they started nerfing credit gain, when it happened the first time it wasnt so bad. the second time was concerning but the third time i quit because without a premium account it simply wasnt possible to progress in the game. i lost faith in both games but for different reasons, war gaming refusing to balance armor because it was practically worthless due to the premium ammo i win button... and war thunder because the grind was attrocious. (i remember at one point the biggest selling point of war thunder was the more rewarding grind but they really killed that...)

I swear they are having a war with War Gaming for who can be the shitest games company going

Even with an acceptable economy this game is a prime example of predatory game design. Never gonna touch it again, except if friends want to play it.

A year or so ago, I had watched enough Mighty Jingles & Norden videos to think 'this game might be fun, I'll give it a go!'. I uninstalled it a few months later. While the gameplay was ok, I simply couldn't make heads or tails of the incredibly dense tech trees, or how to progress. Or, indeed, if I was EVEN progressing. And it didn't engage me enough to care about hunting down the information online. The final nail in the coffin was when I twigged to the vast amount of $ I'd have to spend to 'progress' in a timely fashion. Or at all! (It's the same reason I gave up on World of Warships, and I played that one for a couple of years without any real progress to show for it.) Yes, l get that FTP games have to make their money somehow, and that it usually involves some sort of subtle pay to win mechanic, to keep the hard-core fans and whales spending. I don't mind dropping my cash on something that's engaging me. But, it wasn't engaging me at all. It was confusing and irritating me, and subtly demanding I spend a lot of cash for no clearly defined gains. So I deleted it, and went back to watching others play it. IMHO, War Thunder is falling victim to the inevitable problem most older online games encounter; it's become too intimidating (and expensive) to new players. And now it seems that Gaijin has finally pushed its established community too far as well? Larger games have died for less. Good luck with the May 26th protest guys! I'll be watching with curiosity to see what the fallout will be... p.s.: Love your content, Norden! You, and that mad menagerie you've surrounded yourself with!!

Dropped the game a bit ago because I got burnt out trying to level the British tech tree. You can probably guess which part I hit that drained my SLs like a fucking vampire

Honestly the economy was one of the main reasons why I quit, I hit 6.7/7.7 and could not be arsed to grind and save up SL for all the new shinny tanks/aircraft

WoT adding more and more broken premium tanks and more gimmicky features that try and make "Premium Time" more of a necessity... WoWS adding more broken premiums and game mechanics that make the entire gameplay experience an ADHD headache... WT breaking the economy by reducing earnings and hiking up repair costs and other such things to necessitate premium time and vehicles... *Guys, I think the F2P Historical Vehicle Battle Game genre's about to fucking collapse...* RIP in piss, I guess.

I already quit last year, they treated my thousands of hours like nothing, refused to address changes that made the game unfun, and overall made it a shit experience from 20% of the time, to 99%. The devs don’t care about the player base and I’m glad people realize this.

Honestly the only reason why I would have this game still installed is to use for rotoscope animation.

The fact gaijin doesn't realize only 10 % of the player base "wants" those changes isn't a majority

Players (specially RU-vidrs): Volumetric was a mistake. It is wrongly made, makes 0 sense in the way it works and it ruins the "balance" in the gameplay. Can you please remove it? Gaijin: Best I can do is add another top tier vehicle. Happy now?

I haven't played war thunder for a few years since it struck me as more of a mobile game than anything even back in 2021. I dont know how much worse it is now, but I commend the community and playerbase for standing up for itself for the betterment of the game. Keep it up fellas, the only thing inaction from them will do is hurt them! Solidarity!

I’ve played since 2015, and I remember being able to progress as a mindless idiot on a laptop using and IGPU, it was not more than 2 years ago when I could get damn near 40K RP and 100k+ SL Off a good air rb match at top tier. Now if I carry and do amazingly well, 20k Rp for even more effort than before and 50k SL if I’m lucky. I’ve all but stopped grinding the American ground tree and only ground US air out because I can fly better than most others

"New players might not come after seeing the reviews" oh really like even the veterans would want to stay by this point when they can't fix even the basic problems but rather add more. One or two updates without tanks can be good if they atleast fix the crap the managed to break over time
