What an absolute shame that one of the most well known voices in country music has been reduced to just saying the most basic of words. His distinct voice has pleasured the ears of many over a great career but just can't believe this is how he's ended up. I'm sure we'll hear the soothing tones of Randy Travis once again. With your faith in the god above I hope he see fit to give you the blessing of your true voice once again. I've discovered Randy's music in my 40s, he truly is one of the greatest country music singers I've herd. The country music of today is not even country!! Randy Travis was the last generation for great county music.
I was a teenager when Randy Travis first came along in the 80"s, and to this day, I am a huge fan. And you're right. Today's country music is not country. There are just a few of today's country music artists I can listen to. The country music of the 80's and 90"s will always be my favorite. I just pray to God that Randy Travis makes a full recovery. Love this man❤❤ When Randy had just started out he came to Portland Oregon and I was able to see him play on stage and his then wife/manager sat at a little round table alone. I remember me and my friends kept saying how handsome he was and we questioned why he was with someone so much older then him. I'm lucky that I was able to actually meet him and hear him sing. Within two months he hit it. Real big his music was all over the radio. Everytime one of his songs came on the radio I would make sure everyone around me knew that I got to meet Randy Travis and hear him sing. I thought I was hot shit lol. To this day he is hands down my favorite male country singer. I feel such sadness for everything he has been though and pride for how much has accomplished and that he continues fight.

I didn't know he had had a stroke. He looks good in this video. His and his wife's relationship with God made the difference in where he is now. Praise God he's recouping every day and is a witness of God's faithfulness.
I have been Randy's fan from the start. I have every album that Randy put out. Couldn't wait for the new album to come out. I have had the opportunity to see 5 of his live shows. He never had a bad show. I'm praying that Randy recovers fully, even if he never performed another show, or put out another song. I will forever play over & over the best songs ever published. I would love to hear more, but Randy's health is at my up most interest. He's true Country and that's what is not being broadcasted. Don't watch CMA's anymore.
