My parents didn't like his singing, but I grew up watching Toy Story, and nobody else can sing this like he does. Rock on Randy. You got a friend in me ♥️
I had him as a substitute in 2nd grade @ Telfair Elementary School oh I remember so clearly he wrote his name on the board with a blue marker and said we could call him Randy or Mr. Newman he asked if anyone of us knew him and we didn’t then he asked if any of us liked Toy Story & all of us said yes & he asked if we knew the song & began to sing it. He sounded just like this 😭 Mr. Newman he was so kind & sweet I wish I would’ve been older I would’ve taken a picture but I have the memory in my head forever ✨
Yes exactly!.. and isn't it better to have that mental image of it?.. had you taken a photo, part of you would have left some of that memory along with the photo, and you wouldn't have as strong a mental recollection as you have now, unless you found and looked at that photo to remind you. My point is: A photo is just a photo, while a memory is a stronger representation of past events! I'm happy for you that you didn't have the opportunity to take that photo, because now it will stay with you forever!
@@consciousobserver629 I was born in the late 2000s. I used to think that Toy Story and Pixar was just a childrens movie creation thing. However, after watching 10 minutes into the beginning or Toy Story, I felt a nostalgic vibe, but I had never even heard the song before. It's something about his vibe. I wish I could've been with you in the room with "Mr. Newman" teaching the class.
Damn. The memories. Makes me sad but happy lol also another true artist where he sounds exactly like original track unlike all the "artist" these days and their garbage.
I Grew up this guy's music ever since I watched Toy Story. I'm Black and when I first listened to Randy Newman at first I thought he was Black too. After doing Research on him I realized even White Folk got Soul Too. LOL!! Randy is Brilliant!! His Music has been a Big Inspiration to me. Blessings to you Mr. Newman.
@@JaneDoe-ci3gj from the people i see im guessing it would be peoples from possibly the 60's to the 2000's which means some of them would be listening to stuff like frank sinatra, but honestly this crowd was way too loud! should simmer down...
