I met Randy Orton one day in Sacramento getting Mexican food, and seen him in line. I was with my wife and she has no knowledge whatsoever about wrestling, I tell her “look, it’s the legend killer” and randy turns around with the biggest fucking smile looking right at me as if we were in a high school class laughing at the same joke lol my wife asked me if I knew him and I just googled his name and she was like “oh shit! You made the legend killer laugh” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Met Randy while eating with my kids years ago. My youngest (who was little at the time) yelled out "Outta Nowhere!" and was scrambling to get out of his chair to run over to him. I stopped him and let him know it was rude to interrupt someone's meal. Randy heard me and when he was done he came over, squatted down by my son and asked my son's name. They talked for a couple minutes and he said he had to go. Asked if we had tickets to the show in Dallas. i said we didn't, and he told me 3 would be waiting for me at the gate if we wanted to go and took my name. We went and the tickets were there. My youngest is 16 now and still tells that story. He's still my son's favorite wrestler as well, lol.

Remember that he was originally going to star in The Marine but IRL he IS a Marine who went AWOL (almost immediately on enlisting!) so every Marine basically lost his shit! Imagine a world where he has Cena's movie career instead. Though frankly I don't think he has it in him to be good in that context. He was really born for the ring and nowhere else like Phelps was born for the pool.

I like Randy Orton becuase his dad in the 80s told me I was a good kid. Big Bob Orton was by FAR my favorite 80s wrestler. The night he came out with Roddy Pipers kilt was legenday. I lived in Stampede territory so the wrestlers would stop to get a drink or eat. I miss those days becuase today everybody freaks out when a wrestler walks in and they hound them for pics and autographs. It wasn't always like that. Later ^_^
