Yeah but Randy wanted to drop out of the rock scene. Presumably to pursue classical music. It hard to say, unfortunately we never got the chance to know. RIP Randy.
Some say another reason he wanted out of Ozzy besides pursuing a classical career was because the bands manager ( who just so happened to be Ozzy's wife) was keeping all the money for her and Ozzy. Not paying the band. I believe it because I've heard it from many X members. They sued Ozzy for their share of the royalties so she had their tracks erased from the records. Maybe that's why he always had a new lineup al the time.
