@John Qualms . He sure is! More than a Legend but one for sure! He sang the Lord's word and when he was losing his battle, in a coma and the doctors told his wife she should pull the plug on Randy, she went to Randy still in a coma, and she asked him if he wanted to fight this! She said he squeezed her hand and a tear rolled down his cheek and she knew right then that he wanted to and would FIGHT THIS THING! And he did. The Lord said it wasn't his time to go. He always spread the Lord's word in his singing and the Lord said he wasn't done. FOREVER AND EVER AMEN.. 🙏
@@djtrump2101 He's far from being a zombie if that's what you're trying to say about Randy! Look at the newer things that he's been doing and singing is a big part of it. He's one of the best Country singers of all time! The Lord said his work is not done. He's living proof of the Lord's miracles every day.🙏
I had a stroke back in 2014 and my speech changed forever on that day. Im a big fan of Randy Travis and he is a big hero of mine and will always be. God bless you Randy.
randy's music was with me daily during the happiest time of my life. It's a part of me it's a part of my life. Forever and ever was my wedding song .who knew that forever would only last 7 years but my love of Randy and his music has gone on for 54 years and counting
might be, but way after Keith Whitley would... (to me, he was quite boring actually, sorry, luckily tastes differ - I am happy he is still alive and doing reasonably well.
Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found T'was blind but now I see T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed Through many dangers, toils and snares We have already come. T'was grace that brought us safe thus far And grace will lead us home, And grace will lead us home Amazing grace, Howe Sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now am found T'was blind but now I see Was blind, but now I see.
I heard a black man say Amazing Grace was written down using just the black keys of a piano. I sure hope that's true, as I have repeated that story since I saw it on Bill & Gloria Gaither's music show!
Glad he got his voice back because when my Mom has a stroke she never got her speech back and was never the same again. He’s blessed to have that still going for him, was sorry to hear he had a stroke.
He's one of the best signers ever, and I'm saying that as a person who is primarily a rock music fan. Randy Travis could croon with the best of them. In an earlier era, he could have been another Sinatra. I'm sorry for his hardships, hope he has a strong recovery. Thanks for the great music Mr. Travis. You are one of a kind.
Randy I'm one of the millions of people that love you and love your singing! I'm so happy that you're here today and still able to sing the Lord's word. You're quite the fighter and I'm thankful that you're still here and still fighting to get back to where you want to be! Praise the Lord! FOREVER AND EVER AMEN 🙏 We all still love you Randy!❤️
Randy you got country music to return to its roots when it went astray. You let young singers know singing COUNTRY, true heart felt country, was just right and we all thank you for it. Love you Randy.
@@1171 I’m so very sorry that you lost your brother. My heart felt sympathies. He sounds like he was such a fun person to be with. My two brothers, my sister and I are very close. We are military brats who moved practically every year so we were best friends with little time in one place to make other friends. Losing anyone of them would be devastating. Your pain at your loss had to be excruciating. I hope you have found peace with his passing. God bless. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I love you Randy Travis ❤️..you will always be one of my favorite country music artist!!I pray you continue on your journey to a complete healing...and God's favor will always bless you.
Mister Randy Travis is a treasure and inspiration both tough and humble. He may bring you to tears or prayer, both are worthy responses to someone so respected and cherished. I wish him and his family well, and all God's blessings
God bless Mr. Travis. You were the music of my teens. You mean so much to me. God bless you. Thank you for giving your talents to me and everyone else who enjoyed your music. My appreciation is all I can give you. And my heart felt thanks. I love you and pray for you daily.
One of my first cassetes i bought was randy travis . I was shocked to hear of his stroke . I too suffered a stroke in 2012 my life changed from that day . Im 90 percent recovered now somedays it feels less . But i keep plodding on . Randy is one of my heros it breaks my heart to see him now . I still enjoy his music . Im glad hes still with us my thoughts and prayers are with him .
I absolutely love Randy Travis! I’ve had some addiction issues, my papaw had a stroke the same time he did and watching papaw recover as I watched Randy recover on the TV and online was such a life changing time in my life. Randy Travis has left a lasting impression on my life and I will never not play his songs.
I saw Randy Travis in 1991 with Alan Jackson opening. It brought tears to my eyes here to listen to Alan pay humble tribute to Randy by singing "On the Other Hand". So moving! Randy, I love you! Thank you for sharing "Amazing Grace" right here for all of us!
Randy Travis is my guy. I love ya Randy. Your Music will always lift me up to be better in the moment I am hearing the song and tomorrow as I remember the words.
Randy you are loved your the berries sir, loved you since I was a teenager, and will always love you sir, God bless you just an amazing singer and vocalist❤❤
His stroke is leaving and he may well be up there again with the voice we all long to hear again. He is the quintessential country singer without even trying.
I worked in the Albuquerque sunport airport as a skycap, he use to travel quite a bit.. at that time he was married to his 1st wife... we'd take care of them with highest care as they were traveling to or coming home. Very nice gentleman. He was always there for his family, in my eyes I would say his golden voice was one of the best male vocal singers of country music. Glad our radio stations dont cancel out great music from the past.
Michael M. Michael M. While I agree with you, there's a time and a place for everything. Consider it not being on a comment about a person's debilitating stroke.
We have human bodies that are open to illness. God knows this and is sovereign. He has not made us robots that he controls. Sometimes He does choose to do miracles, and other times He allows things that difficult as they may be to us, inspire, encourage and motivate us to be better. If life was perfect all the time, we wouldn't have the valleys in life to teach and cause us to call on Him.
I love you so much my legend randy travis u are my inspiration god bless u and your family please try to get better I'm so sorry for what you are going through you will always be in my prayers I always listen to your music and sing along
Although I'm not one who likes country music. There are a few songs I like mainly from the olden days but I will say this that RANDY TRAVIS has/had before the stroke the most genuine-sounding country voice I've ever heard out of all the popular country singers. In other words, he doesn't have to fake a country twang to sound "country" it just comes naturally and effortlessly with him. Out of all, RANDY TRAVIS wins hands down as far as the best vocal sound for country. He stands out in spades to me!!!
