We are going to unbox, review and find out if the RANE one is still worth it to get in the year 2024 for aspiring beginner Dj's? Let find out! Rane One www.guitarcent... **None Sponsored Video**
The clicking is a slight space between the hole and the spindle that the record goes on. The same thing happens with some vinyl records on. Turntables. It's not an issue tho. Had my rane one for 3yrs
i just recieved my Rane One about the same time: no issues with the platters; been having fun with it as well. Try the Stems feature....it is awesome. In stems mode: it separates the vocals; rhythm and base line and something else however the first pad will remove the vocals instantly and all you hear is the music...what they don't tell you is that if you hit the bottom first pad... it will echo out the vocals and make your transition and mix sound like a pro....love the feature...BTW you can activate stems from the settings, it will ask you if you want to replace a button to activate stems....I chose the "slicer" button to active stems. I also play music to ease the soul.
Good to know! That stem feature is huge! Remember having to search for hours to find an instrumental? Or back in the day, buying two copies of the same records
Although the Performer looks like an awesome unit i would love to have, the size weight and features vs simplicity are a homerunon the One. Its heavy but not unweildy heavy and its a perfect size to fit on a small dj stand type setup if you want to be mobile with a small footprint. I got the Rane Four as well before the Performer was more than a wish in the comments section, and i don't see myself getting rid of it for the Performer since I don't want to get rid of the One. So to me, the One is still an awesome controller for the price and one of the best digital reinterpretations of two tables and a mixer.
Dope! I just upgraded a month or so ago. I agree the Rane is a tank. Starting to teach myself how to scratch but your much further along then me. I live for the baby scratch lol
looking into buying one... i have turntables and a mixer with serato.. but setting it up each time i want to use it... well you know... This seems like a quick plug and play solution... but i think i need to see it in person, to determine it's actual footprint.
@@BenjieMoreno going to go look at it tomorrow. I’m excited, either way, I’m not coming home empty handed from guitar center 🤣 appreciate your reply and video 💪🏼
1 month down- im kind of grasping the concept of scratching- ill wear this down a bit more, ive added some dr. suzuki slipmat (paper) with the oem. i got my eyes in the butter rugs. if i master the crab and 1 click flare- that is my signal to switch mats =)
Serato is a beast on any computer, so my best advice is get you an Apple computer, Macbook Pro 💻 - I’ve used them all & the M1 laptops if you can get one used will be more than enough to do the job- You’ll be amazed.
Does that clicking noise have anything to do with the vinyl? Check the vinyl and make sure that it’s lined up with the slot on the pin. The pin has a cut out slot that the vinyl has to be lined up with. When you line it up correctly you will not be able to pull the vinyl out without pinching that tab to release it.
no no no something is not locked in place right you have to place it in the center and hear a clock and theres nothing wrong with it this happen me too
What kind of computer works good with stems. I need to update to a newer Mac book pro, i need to know what i need to run stems, and im looking into the rane one as well.
i used a gaming computer and never skipped a beat. Content Creators' Dream Machine: ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (FX507ZI) w/ upgrade! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9rXMbO-5Q5Y.html
