Hey bro I’m using serato dj with a mixtrack platinum! I’m ready to step up to a bigger & better controller! I like Newmark and love the Ns7iii but I’m sooo close to buying the ddj1000 I think it’s the best bang for the buck! But it’s only mapped to rekordbox software! I might try switching to pioneers software or wait till someone maps it to serato which I’m sure will happen!? Any thoughts

@ Dj TLM hey buddy. I had my 1200s stolen from me. Im looking to get back into the game. I have been eyeballing the NS7 III now that i found out about this im not sure what to get there is a big price difference. But they almost do the same thing..should i wait for this or go with the NS7 III whats your opinion?

This its a great review when you talk about the rane and pioneer mixer this its really going change a lot in the DJ community and many more. Funk up Salute Peace and Love. P.S hope u check out the other review u should do u can dj with out the needle u going to be like yooo!!!! Hope you do that real soon and if the pro version pro going to be dope update hope they can add the ft on you can go live right from your software when you do your internet radio station u can add i.p and password and go live right on your software like virtual dj or butt program what not that be a game changer as well.

the twelve technology is the same as the GEMINI CDT-05,THE NUMARK CDX AND NUMARK HDX. WHICH CAME OUT IN 2007

Do your homework people. The 72 design concept was developed years ago. You all need to stop complaining about who copied who. These are two totally different pieces of hardware. Im not sure why everyone was expecting the 72 to look any different. Its a battle mixer. It was always gonna look like it does just like the S9.

Rane 72 has dual usb, but only one set of audio inputs, pioneer has 2, so I have decks and two mpc lives plugged in, if you had Rane 72 and you wanted to play decks and cds, youd have to unplug and replug and flick tiny switch at back, where as I can play records and flip to mpc live time😉

I want to know. Is there any solution to start a track on Rane 12s without a delay. The way the platter starts from slow to start. Can I start my track like we play on CDJs and Controllers. I am stuck here. Please help me. Thank You

I'm Interested in the DDJ-1000. I have the SR & SZ. Was thinking of trading the SR because it only has 2 Volume faders. If i heard correctly and you're going to demo the DDJ-1000 i would like to have you're opinion or should I just keep what I have? Thank You for all that you do!

Matt Wylie the Ddj 1000 is Rekordbox only, you'd have to convert all serato crates

That Technics player was the SL-DZ player. Used to have two of those. Were my first players to get to know moving platters. Not close enough to the real thing though, but so great to had them. Love your channel! 🖒

RANE customers are going to shy away from that Twelve now that PHASE is here. I can keep my 1200's and still use it as a controller. Best of all, I can switch to my vinyl when I need to on the fly! I have a huge vinyl collection. RANE should have dropped their product sooner or at least, should have placed an "S Arm" on it to play vinyl.

Yeah, I think they dropped the ball by waiting so long. Phase isn’t out yet, but they are doing a phenomenal job of promoting it. If Rane released the Twelve last year they could have done well, but I can see people hold off a bit longer and wait for Phase

i cant really talk about it but it is a very good update (if that is what it is) changes are noticeable. and looks better on my windows laptop. new feature which everyone has been asking for is there as well.

Gonna have to disagree with you on this one TLM. Rane "clearly" copied the Pioneer S9 on this new mixer they are releasing. I see what you are saying about placement of the pads, but look at Rane's last flagship mixers the 62 and 64. Neither look anything like the S9. Now, all of a sudden they have an identical twin of the S9. I'm not partial to either brand, but when Pioneer released the S9, it was a complete departure from Rane's top mixers which were the industry standards at the time. Let's just call it what it is..."Rane copied the S9."

I never said they didn’t copy Pioneer. My point was that there’s not much you can do differently. They wanted to move from the small buttons to performance pads and that is the best place to put them.

Actually Rane already had this design before the S9 came out but didn’t finish it because they were sold to In Music, after they were purchased by In Music they did copy the toggle switches. You all need to remember that these mixers are based on the software they control so of course they will look very similar to one another. I tested both the 72 and the 12 at NAMM at they were legit and the Phase is super dope too.
