This Rang cannot be completed without a third legend after Amjad Sabri sahab and ustad rahat sahab. One and only Tabla Nawaz who, Ustad Nasir bhai who was the maestro in Tabla. He passed away, a great loss in Pakistan's music industry. Rest in Peace

Fun fact: Late Amjad Sabri was singing the whole time while chewing Paan. 😃 They kept it in Qawali flavor and experimented with everything in it but didn't leave the Qawali style at a single time. This was just like a Qawali Rock form. And Ananya G your reactions do make me happy. They teach me. And they bring a smile to my face. I pray May Allah Almighty bless you and your family forever!

Amjad Sabri bhai shaheed was such a humble human being and so down to earth. I was honored to meet with him in person and dinner together with after his private Qawalli performance. Never met such an iconic artist so humble. A little Trivia, Amjad bhai didn't rehearse RANG like Rahat sahab did. Even before this CS performance, Amjad bhai was actually playing carom in a shop with neighbors and the CS team came to pick him up, and when he reached the studio, he didn't rehearse. I remember Sonu Nigam came karachi to perform, he shared the stage with Amjad bhai and he didn't know anything about him. Amjad bhai's performance overpowered the performance of Sonu Nigam. Even Sonu Nigam was shocked. He lived so simple and became LEGEND.

The Tabla Player is in his "zoone" or "haal". Brilliant!! Never seen such an energetic live tabla player other than Dildar Hussain Saab. You've got to do the earlier version of live concerts of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab. Those 1 hour long qawalli sessions along with Dildar Saab's tabla playing is absolutely brilliant and other-worldy. So much so, that you will find even the audience captivated by the performance. In fact in one such concert of Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor hein, you will find a Sardar Ji Dancing away from the beginning till the end of the 1 hour.

This qawali is originally sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Sabri Brothers. As they both were from entirely different gharanas. The way these two giving respect to each others, replicated the To ELDERS of them 2. This video was actually the final rehearsal for the video. But that was that perfect, they didn't shoot the final video 3. When this episode shown on the TV, Amjad Sabri was left the world weeks ago.

Your reaction is so on point , detailed analysis of singing , music , instruments n body language of the singers , Weldon ananya , one thing u may not notice n it was every time when singing switch from rahat to Amjad Bhai , rahat deliberately points his hands towards Amjad sabri like now it's ur turn brother n it's like he knows who's more skilled in this art , appreciating,admiring n giving respect all through that number , full marks to rahat Fateh Ali...... The original text is "Aaj rang hai ae maan rang hai ri" Nusrat Fateh without knowing changed it to " AJ rang hai ri maan" and Rahat Fateh Ali continues to sing it But if you listen to Sabri brothers you will get transported to another world. I find their version to be their best.

Amjad Sabri was a typical Qawal He is trained in that way Also from His family he got hight pitch loud throat On the other hand Rahat Feteh Khn has genetically voice with low pitch on high notes as u mentioned He can take sharp turns which Amjad can't . Both are masters of Classical

Thank God, someone who really knows the music is reacting on this masterpiece.. a Big & unrevealed fact: this was not a rehearsed performance, they met just 5 to 10mins before to record this track in one go.. and unfortunately, very sadly Amjad Sabri was killed next day to this performance and he left all of us without listening his own masterpiece. One more thing I like to share that Rang is not just a name of this track but actually this is kind of type or you can say a genre in Qawali music to end the Qawali show..

Amjad Farid Sabri was a Pakistani qawwal represented "Sabri Brother" the most famous Qawal group in Pakistan. He was assassinated on June-22-2016 in Karachi city, RIP for this legend.

Amjad Sabiri was highly loved qawali artist in Pakistan. He was son of Ghulam Farid Sabri, one of the most famous qawali duo of sub-continent 'Sabri Brothers' who were original singers of several unforgettable qawalis like 'Tajdar-e-Haram' and 'Bhar do jholi meri ya Muhammad'. Unfortunately Amjad Sabri was murdered during a roadside robbery attempt. Ironically assassin didn't even know him as an artist and they killed this great artist just for a small amount. It was such a sad incident and whole Pakistani nation was saddened over this loss. This song ''Rung" was officially his last recording and this song of coke studio was released after 2 months of his murder, and I myself cried a lot when this went on air.

I am surprised you never heard Late Amjad Sabri, and yeah you are true he is supposed to be relaxed coz Rahat was in his realm of Qawali and he knew Rahat can never over shadow him at all .

Thanks for this reaction. Although, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was not even near to Amjad Sabri, I do know many of my friends or other people who are huge fan of Nusrat Fateh but they also hate Rahat Fateh as he did not carry his legacy well for the sake of money and fame. There are many qawallis of Nusrat Fateh who are also sung by Rahat Fateh but difference is clear between singing and crying.

We asked its “ Tabla set karna” har line k baad aor beat bhi na totay. You told sab ghoom phir k ataty hain yehi classically husn hai. Aik gana suggest karta hon jo ustad Salamt Ali khan aor ustad Nazakat Ali Khan ne Gaya Sarangi aor Tabla k sath jia k bol hain “ Ishq anokri peer Andar” isay sunay ap ko kamal maza aye ga k aik hi sur mein dono alag ga raha hain.

This is not a song but a qawwali. And this one is called 'Rung' (colour) composed by Ameer Khusro. In every mehfil of qawwali, Rung is rendered.

Most natural reaction I have seen to date I think. It was all done so properly and naturally. But I think that fetching out of the book and pen was quite a bit caring about "how you are looking". So kind of show off and this distracted you way too much. You attention was grabbed back again by the "Ahaha" by Amjad Sabri. Just what I assume. Can be wrong too! Will be watching 2-3 more videos and you woll be getting a new subscriber in the community if I love them like I loved this one.😃 Haha. Editing my comment after watching some more content from you. Please also mention bone conduction headphones.. they dont even use audio waves but bone conduction technology. Also you can use them as they dont make you unaware of surroundings
