Matthew Hayden the best sweeper I have seen have said" I swept when the ball started to turn square, because then coming down the wicket becomes very risky and there is a big chance of missing the ball" So if you sweep on wicket which is not turning that much be ready to get out by LBW. Also when it turns too much it is a good chance that ball will miss the stumps or impact will be outside the off stump.
