DEVINE SONGS..YOU MEAN DEVOTIONAL SONGS ON DEITIES.MOST classical songs of India are RELIGIOUS in worship of a deity or appreciating the characteristics of a deity.Such songs are usually centuries old and unlike film songs are not written to suit a art firm whose life is a few months or years. The trend now is reversing in the number of people appreciating anything classical.For example there are over ONE THIRD OF INDIAN POPULATION who are familiar to classical carnatic music in South.About 40 crores.Have you ever noticed the pathetic viewer numbers for videos in carnatic music in multi language , new or old or by new singers live or old singers recorded? So shortfall IS NOT IN DONGS OR SINGERS BUT IN LISTENERS AND PATRONS. 50 YRS BACK TO GET MEMBERSHIP OR TICKETS FOR A CONCERT IN CHENNAI WAS DIFFICULT.Today population has doubled or tabled but filling an auditorium is a herculean task. People will spend 500 for a film ticket but carnatic music concert they prefer to get a FREE PASS Based on many reasons!

@@krvnaick2022 Bro. but Foreigners value/ like our classical songs ( In social media we can see their hundreds of classical dances and songs ) and doing Hare Krishna Bajans in roads , performing Ratha Yathra with huge growds we can see. (First of all how many hindus have Bagavad Gita or read it and follow in India? I know even old people here are interested in T.V .serials and rarely they are interested in spiritual talks.) Only after reading Bagavad Gita the Foreigners value/follow our culture as they analyse and differentiate the reality with proof. Also I never forced any one to listen/value classical songs. Jai Shri Krishna, Om namah Shivaya.

How mellifluously sung, my sweet child! Deekshithar would be happy too! Shorn of percussion instruments, which may even mildly 'distract', one can absorb in the Brindaavana Saaranga effortlessly. For us, it is the constant view of the microphone (that has brought the music to us!) as big as the singer, that occupies some mental 'frame' - only one could close one's eyes, but then, miss watching you sing! Truly, Nada is for the ears, and Laya for the heart - and the Raga is the form itself. When the object of adoration, the particular aspect of the Lord, as well as the Bhava emoted by the great Saint composer are also comprehended by the mind in any measure - Rasaasvaadanam with some identification ensues. I thank Vittal very often for introducing me to Sivasri's abhang rendition which I enjoy even more than her kritis. Hence I can understand your feelings on similar line.
