Although he's not showing the actual removal, he's pointing out the most important things to dissemble. Once u do that, its just a 10mm bolt easy to access and of course, removing the cables. Important: do it with everything switched off on the car and as he recommends, start with the negative terminal on the old battery. And opposite for the new one: connect first the positive one.
Last but not least: if you mount a non start-stop battery (as long as its 77-80Ah and at least 780a) and skip the step of running the battery replacement on the diagnosis tool, it will work perfectly fine and will save good money: those batteries go for as low as 80EUR (VARTA). Only Start-Stop wont engage but its a really stupid feature anyways
Hi Bob, finally found it thank you. Can I ask you to give my the actual part number or product code so I know I’m getting the right battery. This will save us £££ thanks in advance.
In which control unit can I look up which battery is installed in the Range Rover evoque? I looked at the gateway module and it says 43AH, which is not correct. I have installed 80AH.
