Hi, I looked under my UK Evoque drivers car seat and there is a Harman Radio head unit there, and not a sub-woofer? Why is this? Have I got an out of date Evoque? I was expecting to find a sub-woofer or at least an empty space for a sub? Please could you possibly assist? Harman radio unit HX63-18K812-CB
I don't know if it changed for a certain year, but they either came with a Harman system or Bosch. If Bosch, the unit is behind the dash. If Harman it's under the driver's seat. What's under the passenger seat? I have a 2018 and have the Harman under my drivers seat. Going to look under my passen5sode and see if can install the sub.

What was the vin number ranges on the EPC for the different subs? Is there a different one for 3 door vs 5 door. I would check but haven’t renewed my subscription :)
Hi I do have a evoque 12/2015 markIII with original basic system sound do you think I can add this like plug and play ? Or only compatible with Meridian etc ?
you can try opening everything as in the video to see if there are some cables ready for connection. If yes then it's possible you're factory amplifier can handle it
I do not think it matters from an electrical point of view - it will work either way but the sound will be out of phase so you could try it each way and check the sound !
powerfulukltd Thank you for replying. It did not start the first time the other day but finally managed to start after recycling the ignition. I was going to try to see if there was more than a 50 milliamp drain but am wary of messing with the electrics as there seems to be so many things that need to be reset etc when disconnecting the battery. It is an HSE and has all sorts to go wrong. I thought that a battery with 12.2 volts was not even 50% charged ? Thanks.
